Cate is amazing in print. If there is any celebrity I'm okay with on magazine covers, it's Cate. Her editorial seems fantastic as well. McDean's editorial isn't anything exciting, but I love his model choices.

i second this. the shots aren't groundbreaking, but the cast is epic! it thrills me that kori got three shots... if only kamila had been fortunate enough to be given the same amount of apparitions... anyway.
barbara's edit is quite great too, she owns such a delicate and endearing presence...

Overall, this cover looks and feels pretty typical, safe and boring W, but Cate the Great owns every inch of the cover paper. Her presence is, once again, simply unparalleled in strength. Every time this woman is pictured, whether it be onscreen, offscreen or in print, she takes my breath away.

The inside contents honestly don't look that interesting to me, but Cate will probably get me to buy this anyway. McDean bores me, though. Although he plays a lot more with colors and settings by comparison, there is still more often than not a kind of Testino-vibe in what he does, which just tastes like nothing. Where's the garlic?

There were some comparisons by some online about Cates cover to Tilda Swinton's cover. I can kind of see it but I think she looks great on the cover but the ed was okay.
