400 pages.

Bewitched kind of bores me, it looks like outtakes from their September grunge edit.

I don´t get what the title has to do with the ed if Mariacarla is there so my first reaction was domestic violence, the male model´s expression is kinda aggresive... I guess I´m reading too much into this though

sorry for posting 2 much lol but here it goes

'Bewitched' is EVERYTHING!!! That shot of Stella in the bathtub is giving me chills! :buzz:

I don't get the praise towards the Bewitched...it's nothing new

Bewitched is the same old same old M&M.. matched with a Steven Klein editorial. It's like it's not exciting me anymore. Every issue there's this two styled by Edward and invoking the same concept. How can they honestly get any more predictable? It's like the Edward show up in here. Get more editors please. I think having the same set of photographers is okay but having them paired up with the same editor month after month is just boring. I need to see M&M & Klein carry out the vision of W Magazine under the creativity and direction of a different editor.

I wish the DADT editorial could've been more risky. Like a female to female editorial having the other female being the soldier of duty whilst maria carla being the lover.

But one think I can't clock about W is their high patronage for models.

I understand where you are coming from. But I really miss the days of Alex White at W as I feel she was truly able to repeatedly electrify concepts through her fashion direction, and with a wide range of photographers. And other editors delivered soo much more too.

There are def some highlights here, but I'm still hoping for W to deliver and wow me like it used to under Freedman, as soo many of my favourite editorials ever are from that era.

People rant on about Vogue Paris producing the same content month after month, yet what about W? Personally, I think it's the most predictable magazine out there. Always the same models featured in the same dark, depressing and moody fashion stories. I'm SO glad I got rid of most of my W collection.

Bewitched is super lame, as most of Mert & Marcus' work. Meisel already did this creepy/horror concept before and much better.

the movie issue was fabulous; the cover with emma stone made me buy it. this cover, too, is immediately compelling…i love it.

is there someone new over there making decisions?

W under Freedman was such a breathtaking magazine. Always surprising, always interesting, always beautiful and always creative. Throughout his tenure - it really was a magazine to rival all others. It was absolutely on the level of a lot of European competitors - and oftentimes even better because it was always a fabulous magazine cover to cover...it wasn't just a great main editorial...every editorial was strong and the art direction was gorgeous even for the smallest feature article.

Tonchi's W is predictable and so fashion victim-y. The photoshoots are only a step or two up from the fare we've gotten over the years from America's Next Top Model. It's cheesy, it's all so cliche "fierce," it's just not good. W has become a very hollow magazine.
