Yeah some of the covers and most of the editorial are well done. Tim walker can do no wrong!

Am I the only one that thinks the editorial is f***ing ridiculous? I really don't know how they all kept a straight face with those extras bobbing around in octopus costumes. It's a shame because Saoirse' cover is actually quite good - just the right brand of peculiar without going overboard. I can't stand the shot of Claire and Emily though - adults dressing up as little children really rubs me the wrong way.

Never been one for Tim Walker and don't particularly rate any of the covers or editorial photos here but I must say that Kiki Layne looks divine in that lilac Prada, as well as Saoirse Ronan in Celine.

I kind of dig Mikael Jansson's edit with MAS! Intriguing styling and the whole story feels a bit Interview-y. Not really interested in anything else, the edit above by Theo Sion is OK I guess.

Did W lose access to fonts or something when they were put up for sale? This whole Volume deal has presented some of the ugliest fonts for this magazine. Nothing will ever compare to W’s editorial opening pages before the 2010 redesign.
