Wearing tons of bracelets / bangles

The only problem I find when I wear tons of bangles is the noise my arms make whenever there are any sudden movements.

It really gets annoying when I have on my copper bangles. I know I must be annoying someone.... :p

I could never do this... merely on the fact that i'm on the computer all day... they'd hurt my mouse hand

evidence that it can be done successfully in real life... ^_^
my wrists are really small...
or i would probably do some stacking myself...
can look very chic if done well...

runway vs. realway. Its all about how to incorporate styles into real life, and this woman does it well.

But I have stick skinny arms and trying to find bangles that don't fall off my wrist is quite near to impossible. I love the look though if I can find bangles to fit me I would do I with a simple outfit.:flower:

try claires, those are on the smaller side.

I love this look.. People call me "wonderwoman".. lol! But I love big, and lots of bangals and bracelettes.

Ive reached my bracelet quota. My best friend wont let me buy anymore. I got a ton at claires, dots and wet seal. Even target. Why spend a ton of money on a trend like that, but at the same time, I will be able to wear them again as the years come......I like the wooden ones with the gold bangles. Not really a fan of the plastic bracelets. Thats funny how all this stuff is back in, like it was big in the 60's 70's and even 80's then it kind of disappeared. I personally love them. I do feel i make a lot of noise, so when at work i dont wear so many, or a try to put a wooden one between two metal ones, etc. Seems to work a bit.

Is that your daughter in your avatar? She is absolutely precious!:flower:

i like the Louis Vuitton ones and Chanel ones..it's a good look....as long as you keep it in reason

With dumbells so overpriced these days, it might be the sensible option...

I tend to wear lots of bracelets on wrist, for whatever reason. lately I've also been stacking watches (inspired by a suggestion from our very own lena in the watches thread ^_^). I can't really do bangles though because my wrists are too small...they just fall off unless I push them up to my forearms (which isn't very comfortable). I have several big chunky bracelets/cuffs from africa that I stack on and I like it because it gives a little bit of edge to my otherwise aerie-faerie ensembles. :p

Bangles are fine, as long as the person wearing them does not "shake their wrists" to make funny noises....  I know it sounds weird, but I know people who wear lots of metal bracelets and shake them like crazy, and don't even ask why.

^I agree :D

I like wearing chunky and thin metal (or silver and gold) bangles together, but the jangling sounds they make can get pretty annoying. When I'm sitting in class, I tend to move my arms around a lot and I make so much noise with my bracelets  . Also, my wrists are tiny too, but I try to find adjustable metal bangles that you can push in to make smaller. That keeps them from falling off ^_^ . Sometimes I push really big bangles up above my elbow if I like the bangle but can't wear it on my wrist.

^ I was at a play the other night and the lady sitting behind me was wearing lots of bangles. well, she got hot and started fanning herself with her programme... you can imagine the noise - everyone was turning to give her dirty looks! it reminded me of that scene in auntie mame where mame makes her stage debut, and upstages the lead actress because her bracelets jingle so loudly.

I remember that, thats hysterical! love that movie!

^ i remember that scene as well... i think everything in moderation. if you're wearing something simple, then adding in a few accessories... whether it's a few bangles/bracelets or necklaces... can make it more fun. however, i think people have definitely been overdoing this... the huge peasant skirts, sparkly tunics, funky sandals, big chunky belts, etc.

I love it, and I think the peasant style looks great on many people. I feel very feminine when I wear a long skirt and jewlery. At the same time though, I try not to look like a fashion victim. With every trend that comes out each season, all the magazines have articles like Top Ten must haves, What to get this season, etc. So people are bound to go out and stock up on whatever is "hip".

I hope I never become that person  ;)
