Hi Guys!

This is my first time posting here. I need ure help on what color shoes and accessories wil go with this dress. its for my formal/prom and also what style of shoes.I'm just having a bit of a mind blank at the moment. >.< . I would be grateful for any advice.

The colour of the dress is kinda like a pearly peach colour/ a very light pinkish colour.

this sort of thing all depends on your style...
you can mix it up and go a funky sort of route with a bright shoe/clutch...

or you could go more pretty/romantic with a silver/gold shoe (maybe some sort of open-toed slingback) or even a nude shoe could be quite pretty...

Liberty I think it does suit you.. purple is a gorgeous color. I like it better than other bright colors since it is kind of darkish but not

francesca denim YSLs! love them. i'd wear them with black tights and a cute mini dress. flowy short and a-line. maybe white. and a leather jacket. you can wear them with anything but i wouldn't wear them with denim pants. also i'd wear them with white denim or black denim skinnies!! also leather trousers or a leather skirt! the possibilities are endless

hope this helps!!

Of course it helps, sweetheart.

I don't know if this is the right thread for this...
But anyway, my question is
Is it okay not to wear a suit jacket when I wear my topcoat to work?

Pic kind of related but it has a suit jacket underneath
source: GQ.com

I'm asking this because most of my suit jackets are seersucker, linen and cotton. I just came from a warm place without any winter and I only have one wool jacket.
I feel it is a bit awkward to wear these white and khaki colored suits during winter.
But what do you guys think about that?

I suppose this kind of thing also depends on where you work. If I was working for a business firm type deal, I'd wear my suit WITH topcoat, but if it's more of a casual type of workplace, then I think you can let the suit loose and just wear the topcoat.

I've bought a dress this summer in H&M, can't find a picture of it anymore, but it's the same like this skirt:

(source: hm.com), but it's a strapless black dress instead of a skirt. It has two stripes on it, on top, in red and beige. I want to wear it casual, but I don't know how :-/ The lenght is just above my knee

^Maybe with black or grey tights. Flats or Flat boots to dress it down. You can also wear a long cardigan on top or some type of leather jacket  A leather jacket will always dress down anything a bit. Add a scarf too!

I've already tried it with black tights, but it's too dark. Grey is a good idea! I'll try it with a long cardigan, but I still want something for under the cardi... Ideas are welcome

^what about a grey slightly lose t-shirt under the dress? Or it could be another colour - grey is just such a "relaxed colour" if you get what I mean. I sometimes do that when I want to dress down some of my dresses..

I would go with thick tights and a cardigan as well, both normal length and long..
and some sort of a scarf - a pashmina perhaps..

How would you all style this belt?

I've admired it for a while and am thinking about getting it now that it's on sale. But now that I'm really considering it, I just don't know how well I'd wear it. The detail is a shiny gunmetal. I'd appreciate your opinions. I hope to decide on it tonight.

Thanks.

Probably too late...
Immediately I pictured it belted with a menswear, l/sleeve collared dress shirt-like a "boyfriend" shirt, and then with leggings or skinny jeans. I guess it could also belt some dresses that are monochromatic. There's also a look in the nicole richie thread this week (that is from a previous year) that shows a similar belt and how she styled it with shorts. :flower:

any thoughts on what to wear with these shoes? My style is really feminine and girly, so I thought it would be a nice twist.

the colour is a dark beige - not white.
