Tiffany7--put a waist belt over the elastic, consider shortening the legs to bermuda length? That would be trend overkill though... How tight does it fit? Do the legs taper?

Its not tight at all & the top part blouses over the waistband a bit. The legs dont really taper.

I had another thought for me red jumpsuit. I have a pair of white vintage lace up jazz style shoes & a pair of black ones by Oh Deer. Maybe I could wear those with it to make it more casual?

Tiffany7- look at these flats from Ann Taylor but in black or these.
these 2 are from urbanoutfitters.com

Thanks for those. :flower: I have a black flat similar I will try.

Last night I thought of something else I have... years ago Dior I think or some designer lol was showing butterscotch/luggage color leather pants & I bought a pair. They are butterscoth color, skinny & highwaisted (fitting under the ribs). They are plain in front with a hidden zip in the back & contour really well to my waist & lower back... a really flattering fit. What I was wondering is how I could wear them today? With all the high waists & all would they work some how? If not I dont know if I want to go dragging them out because Im not completely sure they still fit lol.

Free People Mod Dress...

I have the black/white one:

I feel nun-ish in it, so I'd love to look chic... so any help would be great. Thanks for any and all ideas!

what about these YSL shoes and Lanvin bag from LVR.com and a necklace from Nap?

either one could go with black tights and the highest heeled pumps you've got. awith the black dress, I's do a bright clutch like red or something- for the otehr one I'd wear a pink dlutch and if you're cold, a white- off white somewhat dressy coat that is about the same length as the dress

I like them both, but if you always wear black, go for the unexpected ;)

LAMALONE - may we have credits for your pictures please? Thanks :flower:

Hey guys I have a couple questions.

What kind of shirt would you suggest for this skirt? I was thinking of wearing black leggings with patent leather platforms, but I'm wondering what kind of shirt because the skirt sits on my waist and I'm shortwaisted.

As far as the dress, I don't know which shoes would be approriate for this dress. Any suggestions?

Thanks alot!

how do i combine a necklace with a turtleneck? i mean does the necklace to be worn OVER then turtleneck, or do i tuck it under the 'neck' of the turtleneck?

educo - for the skirt I'd say you could wear a white (or other colour) tanktop tucked into the skirt... That could look really nice, because the skirt is bubbly and makes a nice contrast to a fitted top... in addition you can also put a belt around your waist (over the waistband of the skirt) to create some kind of 'border' between the top and the skirt (best would be a belt that's in the colour of the shoes and that's as wide as the waistband)

for the dress I'd suggest simple flats in a bright colour (maybe red?)

generally, I think a good rule is to NOT wear necklaces with turtlenecks, but to focus on earrings instead, because the turtleneck draws the up to your face.

If you must however, wear the neclace outside of the turtlencek, never inside
