What can I wear it with? (December 2003 - March 2010)

I have this Dior dress...and I thought it could look great with this jacket from Celine...but I wanted to know...what kind of shoes would you wear to it... I'm pretty tall and only 17 so I think I don't need heels...

And aris...even thought you said no skirt...I would still see the shoes with a high-waist pencil skirt... And the bag is better in black in my opinion.

Thank you!
The problem is that I do not like how the strap cuts horizontally my leg. I think slim short /up to the ankle/ pants look the best. These shoes were so cute in the shop I couldn't resist
.
For your outfit I suggest pointy /to keep it more formal/ ballerinas like these:

from net-a-porte

these would look good but childish if you are 17:

these would be nice:

less formal:

I CAN SEE VERY WELL THE JACKET THOUGH. What color is it?

Thanks so much. I like your ideas very much...and it's a black leather jacket...up to waist...pretty short.

sanrio, I think of pointed-toe black ballet flats in a similar leather to the jacket, or maybe more matte. To look "edgy" without a heel, because I think the dress+jacket make a nice "edgy" look that the shoes would continue. (And I usually do not like pointed-toe, but that's what I see here, not rounded.)

Also, although the dress itself looks nice with lighter heels, but because the jacket is black, I think black shoes would balance it nicely.

I know these may not be everyone's style, but I am a fan of chunky wedges. What should I wear with them?

I never thought of trousers. Bermuda shorts, that would be cute. Thanks!

Hi everyone
this is my first question at this section of forums
so I'm new

My problem is that I have a wedding, my boyfriend's friend
he is a new boyfriend, kinda like 7 months we're going out...he is classic, very jealous...so I can't be very sexy
the problem is that I'm naturally sexy (i say it in a humble way)...I'm an actress, so I'm very like social you know...I tend to talk to all his male friends, and sometimes he miss interpreted that...I love him of course...
I need a dress, or a type of style that doesn't get much attention...

I'm 1,68 meters height, weight like 50 kilogrames, brunette, I have lik a lou doillon kind of hair, a bit messy with bangs but not that long...my colour skin is a bit tan, I have green/blue eyes, I have a nice body, kinda like you can think i can wear pretty much anything, but I'm a bit flat of chest...and I have like a wide back, resembles elise crombez, which is not big, but strong you know?

so i accept suggestions
What kind of cleavage? which fabric should I wear? colour?
Empire line? romantic?

I don't really know...
so please, if anyone can help...would be great!

if you don't want to be overtly sexy- you could try a shift dress- it's classic and together, but doesn't show off your tigglebitties.

and if you are flatish in the chest area, you are probably one of the lucky few who can wear an empire line top without looking pregnant

For a wedding

I know I posted this in the wedding wear thread but anyway...

Here is my dress - See by Chloe - jersey...on net-a-porter they style it with a pair of Paddington Wedge sandals...very wooden, chunky...

..I cannot afford Chloe wedge sandals, and haven't been able to find anything remotely similar (most knock-offs look too plasticy for my liking)..

what do you think about these prada slingbacks?
Apparently they are brown and orange? Though I don't think they are garrish at all - I think the colour pallette will work (end of summer/early fall weddings).

Then there are these nude shoes, that I really like the shape of. What do you all think????

Then there are the Prada t-straps....hmmmmm

I am so lost..and my time is running out!!

Any other suggestions? I am focussing on slingbacks because I do not want to wrap anything around my ankle - makes my legs look short. I'm all about elongation ;)

Thanks!!

PS: the dress picture is courtesy of net-a-porter.com and the shoes are all from ebay. cheers

I    this jacket, it's a neutural color with pattern, therefore any color goes with it, to be honest, and I would even mix it with a patterned scarf on top.

Hi Everyone,

My boyfriend is taking me to dinner for our anniversary so I bought this dress from BCBG. What type/color of shoes and accesories would be perfect with it?
Thanks!

I really adore these shoes and want to buy them... but I have no idea what I'd wear them with to avoid looking "clown-ish"
