What college do/did you go to?

^ The school's campus isn't as nice as UC Irvine's but when it comes to medical, no school beats UC Davis. What's your major anyway?

I have been to... UCLA, UC Riverside, UC Berkeley, UC Davis, UC Irvine, USC, Stanford, Cal State Long Beach, Cal State LA and San Jose State. UC Irvine has the best school's campus. I wonder how UC San Diego look like...

Whats so great about Davis? lol.. sorry me and my friends have like the worst school spirit. Its a good school though .. friendly people, nice trees, bikes, etc
I hate bikers. No one knows how to bike. Thank god I live downtown and can just walk.

UCSD is really, really nice. I used to live near there before going to college. It's by a million beaches, weather is great. However, it is located in La Jolla, and there are more than a handful of those super rich teens roaming around.

Yeah, i've heard it's a very good school.

And rich teens roaming around ?!! :shifty:

I was a biological sciences major at UCD.

And whats wrong with bikers lol.. I biked everywhere!!! I lived in Allegre apartments and I biked to class everyday for the entire year (except when it was pouring). But yeah some people CANNOT bike.. I almost ran someone over once.

And I've never been to UCSD.. but I have been to the following campuses:

UC-Irvine - Pretty, lots of parks, the school is just one giant park with buildings around it (the most scenic parklike campus).

UCLA - Lovely, this is where they shoot all the movies and its very nice in a "this building was build 80 years ago but we've made it so it looks like its been build 200 years ago" kind of way.

UC-Berkeley - My favorite campus, great arcitecture and great cultural vibe. I'm just not too fond of their large homeless population.

UCSB - Pretty right NEXT to the beach, but the campus itself is meh. Its pretty though, pretty people thats for sure.

Nothing wrong with Bikers, just the ones that couldn't bike. Always fun the beginning of the school year to watch the freshman's try biking... :innocent:

Heh, I lived in Sharps&Flats last year. I took the bus though, just left my bike on campus.

I didn't like the UCSC and UCR campuses. You literaly see wild animals on campus.

Oh I love wild animals on campus! lol.. definately won't find them here in USC (health science campus).

I love seeing cute bunny rabbits hopping around UC-Davis.. always made my day.

^haha wow all this talk about the UCs has helped me narrow down my application choices to...UCLA, UC Berkeley and UCSD

What's your major? What kinda atmosphere do you like?

If you can, you should try to visit the campuses. I never really thought about Davis, until I visited the campus and really liked it (and I also wanted to get far away from my parents as well B)).

im there right now. i got followed by a homeless person yesterday. I think he thought he had offended me somehow and followed me for awhile yelling (in a really raspy voice) "im sorry Im sorry you're very beautiful im sorry im sorry"

...then i ran

i've lived in a suburb all my life, still getting used to living in a ghetto^_^

those were the three i applied for. i REALLY wanted to go to ucsd, because i really wanted a beach and i LOVE la jolla, and the dorming options are really good, even fore freshmen (and a lot of my friends are down there) but my parents wouldn't let me (i got into stanford, and they definately wouldn't let me turn down stanford for sd) so im at berkeley (which is amazing ^_^) now

i'm still undecided on my major! i've been to UCLA and UCSD already but not Berkeley. i may go this winter to visit some friends who are there now.

but i'm applying to three Cal State schools and NYU, University of Chicago and Northwestern

oh i'm so indecisive! hahaha well i like to have OPTIONS. my mom hates it she's like you cant even pick one to apply to how are you going to pick one to actually go to!

It's a great idea to have options!..like 2 reach schools, 2 fits, and 2 safeties. Of course it's hard deciding where to apply, but its better than only applying to one or two and not getting in at all:ninja:
