What do you do with your fashion mags?

I cut out the pictures I like, and throw the rest into the recycle bin.
I have a massive collection of clippings that I keep carefully stored away and bring out to drool over now and then

I keep all mine i have one pile of vogues and another pile of I;D and French - I usually throw out the others unless theres some really nice editorials or articles in them, the take up too much space otherwise.

I don't cut them. I can't. I just.. can't. I don't know why. I have them all in a bookcase, organized by magazine and date. ^_^ I take clippings from the newspaper and other places, but I never ruin my mags.

put them in a huge pile somewhere, and forget about them as they collect dust.

Of the fashion mags i rip all the beauty pages or pages who have cool makeup. The beauty mags i just collect them.

I have too many.. I just can't seem to throw them away, especially when there are covers, editorials and ads that surpass the current magazines. I see some of the old Vogue covers and just think, "Why can't they do this NOW?"

Same here. I never cut my mags! I wish I could afford to buy two copies of each issue, one to save and one to cut for collages etc., but I'm just a poor student so... And I don't throw away my mags either. NEVER!

I wrap up an entire year of Vogues in brown paper parcel and store it in my storage cellar room. Any other mag that I don't read I give to my sister.

Sounds awful, but I used to leave them for the housekeeper, who used to enjoy taking a stack every now and again. I've switched housekeepers and so now, some go to recycling, some are kept for awhile, some go to the hospital or doctor's office as light reading for the masses. :innocent:

archive

save between 5 and 20 full pages intact per issue under polyvinyl archival clear plastic sheets.
cut out additional smaller clips usually for shopping, lifestyle ideas or other relevant smaller images.
throw the rest away.
I will occasionally save an entire issue like the march W as its a particularly outstanding issue, but generally I prefer to save only 10 or so pages under clear plastic & then place in binders.
i have something like 50 binders at least at this point stuffed with clips of many types dating back to 90s at least.

I store mags that are a few months old in magazine racks, which I've collaged with cut-outs from old mags. I throw out mags at the end of the year and when I move. Before I throw them, I tear out images that I can't part with and save them in my folders. I also save lots of pics to put on my bulletin boards.

I find that I tear out of my Nylon mags the most cos they've got some pretty neat illustrations.

I have every issue of Vogue since like the late 80's, and I keep those in storage. I keep all of my other mags for about 3 months, then I either recycle them, or bring them to my local library to give to people who want them.
