What do you do with your fashion mags?

I'm like lady grey, with a system of saving clippings, images etc for different purposes.

Some of my mags I keep intact, but since I've been collecting since 1990, I soon find you run out of space, so now I limit that to only the ones I consider outstanding. The rest I rip apart to save the best bits, sometimes sending parts of the issue to my friends, who I know are keen on certain models, so it saves them from buying the mag to get the pages they need. The 'waste' pages that are left over I always take to the recycling facility.

'Lesser grade' magazines like Marie Claire I donate to charity shops, so they can resell them to raise money.

Well... I made a giant collage in my closet. But I still keep the mags. I have a rather embarassingly large collection.

i wished i would have keep some of my old mags! like sassy in the early 90's..but the earliest magazines i've kept because of moving, college, etc..has been the first few issues of Surface..i was just looking at them the other day and rereading articles..it was quite nice!

I have bookshelves-full... I ought to trash a few...

Guilty as charged... They're also in piles on my floor.

I collect mine in a in a shelf, and every 2 years or so I go through them, tear out some stuff that I wanna keep, throw some away and some I keep even longer...god knows what for

keep all the harper's bazaar ones and keep only the last yr or so of vogue, w marie claire, cosmo and glamour

I save all the mags and pile them under my bed. It´s nice to go through old mags. I belong to those who can´t ruin their mags.

I give my Glamour to a friend...But i keep all my vogues intacts!( i love them!)

Put em in a huge pile and when my mom pesteres me to get rid of them, I give them to my bestfriend!

I've have all seventeens since 1999, all Marie claires since '03, and bunch of other magazines, since on avegare I buy 6 magazines a month. I dunno I just can't bring myself to donate or recyle my magazines.

i collect them. sometimes cut them. right now i am obsessed with buying old fashion mags from the 80's/90's at ebay.

i keep them for about a year...and then decide which ones i want to throw out, which ones i want to keep, and which ones i'd just like to take clippings from.

I just collect them in a huge pile. Then when the pile gets to big I cut out my favorite parts and stick them on my door or on my walland throw them out.

Something like that, except for the sticking part.

I threw out hundreds. Sometimes i regret it or want to see them one last time but it's good to move on. It reminds me of Idlewild's rosability 'Stop looking at old magazines and photo albums. They will never tell you anything you do not already know.'

I have a similar issue, I just can't throw away my Numero Homme issues. The paper quality is too good. Same thing with i-D! Pure luxury!

I don't cut them. I can't. I just.. can't. I don't know why. I have them all in a bookcase, organized by magazine and date. I take clippings from the newspaper and other places, but I never ruin my mags.

Yep, that's exactly what I do I just CANNOT cut. Blasphemy!
