What do you think is the most beautiful height on a woman?

what are skyscraper legs to you? like the inseam measurement?

I think it depends on the proportion more than the actual length. For example, there's 5'2" woman with 30" legs and then a 5'10" woman with 32" legs. The 5'10" woman's legs are longer than the 5'2" woman's, but when compared to their total height the shorter woman has long legs and the tall woman does not.

totally. my friend is 5'6" and has 29 1/2" inch legs, and it looks like she has short legs.

I feel like the only person who wouldn't want to be taller. im 5'5" and I think its the perfect height. I really wouldnt mind be either two inches shorter or taller, but I wouldn't want it. I would not want to be 5'10

i'm 5'3 and my older sister is 5'5. she wasnts to be shorter because her boyfriend is 5'6, so only an inch taller than her...i dont understand how she can make fun of my height but at the same time say she wants my height so she can wear heels around him. but my sister loves it when i wear heels so she can actually look up to someone for a change but when i wear heels im taller than both of them..i think her boyfriend just needs to get some disco stu platforms! haha

I like being 5'11 3/4" (basically 6ft) but wouldn't mind being more like 5'10. It would have made dating a lot easier as I was not into guys that were shorter than me in shoes. My beau is 6'5. I always end up with athletes so thats a nice plus. Being slightly shorter might have made me a size smaller in shoes which would make my life easier. I've never had a problem finding bottoms that were long enough. I'm very happy that I am not shorter because I can carry a lot more weight and be proportionate. I'd look like a weeble wobble toy if I was shorter at my weight. I find that a 5 and 10 lbs weight gain is far more obvious on a shorter woman.

i agree that weight seems to be more dramatic on a shorter person. is this maybe why they want models tall in fashion, so any potential weight gain isn't as likely to disrupt the order of things? what is shorter to you?

masque, why would u not want to be 5'10? u say that like something is wrong with that height? hehe.

i think all heights are fine as long as you have long legs. although i do think jeans tend to look best on girls that are around 5'9ish because otherwise they tend to puddle around your ankles if you don't wear heels.

i think they want tall models because it just looks better on camera to have longer legs and long limbs. it makes the clothes look elegant and in some cases might make you notice the clothes more than the girl wearing them. as a photographer, i can honestly say that it is easier to shoot tall women over short women. i'm thinking maybe girls that are 5'9"+ probably hit that 3:1 body ratio between their body and the size of their face, which is visually more pleasing. the same rule follows for facial beauty. the 3:1 ration of separation between features is important. this is all just guesswork. don't jump on me. i think short women are beautiful too.

This post is not an attack against anyone, I simply wanted to share my thoughts on the subject.

No one would be able to tell the difference in height between two women if you took two separate photos of one tall woman and one petite woman (both slim in proportion to their height) against a big white wall. It is true that people would be able to tell the petite one is small if there is something nearby that is the same size across the country (for example, a doorframe), but I don't believe that suddenly makes her arms and legs appear much smaller than the rest of her body. Everyone on this planet is more or less in proportion (apart from deformed people) and not just tall people. Unless it is only me that has not noticed a large number of short people with ridiculously large heads and baby-sized limbs.

what is the ratio you speak of and how does one figure out if they fit it? i find that fascinating.

i should phrase the question differently:
what inseam is considered long, and HOW are you measuring the inseam? i've seen some women measure from heel, or floor, to crotch, and others start at the ankle bone and measure all the way up to the first tip of the pelvic bone! men also seem to measure inseam differently than women. why is this?

I'm 5"2 I would love to be 5"9
most girls are not tall which is why they embrace the Olsens, Richie
because Giselle and 10000 6"0 tall models are shoved down their throats

I'd love to be like 176-178 cm, which is probably about 5,8 - 5,9
Oh, and I was wondering, is 5,11 the same as 6,1 ? :)

176-178 is 5,9-5,10 as far as I know.
and 5'11 is not the same as 6'1, there is a 2 inch difference between them

well I am 174 (its like 5'7 or 5'8 or I dontknow) cm like I've checked it lately...but weird part that I am higher than some men, who looks not that short. I dont like it when men are shorter than me so sometimes I dont feel compfortable to wear heels that adds 10 cm - 184 cm thats not so good

in 15-16 I was 170 cm already than it stopped and than I guess I added some cms

IMO 175cm is the perfect height. Any height above 180cm is not pretty.
