when we went for a swim all the bronzed italians were pointing at us for being so white. Quite emabarassing but quite funny too. I'm sure we'll have the last laugh when we have nice fresh skin in later life!! Thanks for the help.

thanks runner - yes i might look at Helmut lang jeans (although I don't think I can get them in the country I live in). I will definately take my black kaftan as its lovely. Thats the worry with getting a white/light kaftan - you still burn through the cloth which means i will have to wear sticky lotion under my clothes - yuk! was in australia a few years ago & got burned through a white top. maybe i should go on a sunbed a few times before i go just to get a littl eprotection in my skin. thanks for the help!![]()

thanks runner - I'll have a look. Helmut Lang is available in the Uk but just not in Scotland - I think the nearest stockist is in London - about 600 miles for me!!
