When I go to prom I don't want a typical floor length gown with updo hairstyle like most girls in my town. I really would love a knee length/tea length dress with my hair down..more like 1/2 up 1/2 down..curled/wavy. I have pretty pale skin so I picture myself in a melon/peachy embroidered type strapless probably, knee lenght, silver heels, a necklace.

that is so funny. although floor length dresses with hair up is the "traditional" look, most girls at my school went for the short dresses with their hair mostly down

i did want simplicity but now i think it is a little too simple for me, i need some colour as i have dark hair and pale skin so am taking it back tommorow. the search continues...i have 2 weeks.

I'm going to a prom with a friend of mine! My own prom is in about a year! My friends prom is in about a month! I bought this simple dress.. Unfutunately you can't see the details and stuff!

I really want to change the pearl necklace for a simple silver long (!!) necklace with something on it, but my mom says this is nicer.. What do you think?

I have powder blue satin and I want to use that. I'm thinking floor length ballgown.... Just need a picture to take to my seamstress for inspiration... not so sure about the top...
