What to wear to prom or homecoming

If you are wearing a ballgown, a tiara is a must. If it's skinnier, a tiara can work. My philosophy is that any dress above the floor doesn't warrant a tiara. If it's above the floor go to the nearest Claire's and get yourself some Austrian Crystal jewellery.

With my gown I can work a tiara as well as the crystal jewellery since the bodice is unadorned and it's a ballgown.

As far as cheap prom dresses go, look into searching on google for cheap prom dresses. Many sites will have stuff from last year on sale-and many styles are similar.

I found this dress which I like, would want to change the material take away the see-through part.

I wont get it though since I'm making my own dress, bought materal for it yesterday and I'm just so excited.

what do you guys think of these dresses? i haven't started looking so i have no idea what kind of dress i want. i've always thought my prom dress would be big n poofy kinda wedding-ish but im not sure, maybe just a plain silk dress sorta thing.

For my prom, I want the first dress by Oscar de la Renta.

The second one is my all-time dream dress but I think it's a little to over-the-top for the occasion.

Oh sure I'll do that! Prom is not until may, but I want to have time to make mistakes so I might start rather soon. But it will probably take forever until I'm 100% satisfied

The first site is like a big catalogue with most of the dresses from each brand's prom line and you can search for specific brands in Google and get the official site. If you search for "prom dresses" you could also find a lot of stuff.

I've decided not to go to prom. I said yes to a guy that asked me. But now I've heard from many people that he likes me alot and it freaks me out, so I've decided to put all the money towards a cellphone instead. I've already told him so now he has enough time to find another date.

Errr...the Oscar de la Renta is probably in the thousands. And the Louboutin couture is probably in the ten thousands.

It's my DREAM dress. No way am I actually going to get to wear it.

My prom's in April and I'm making my own dress... it's probably going to be empire-waist, floor-length and very simple.

I really loved this Bottega Veneta when I saw it in the print campaign, but now I think my dress is going to look more like the J. Mendel, only in dark royal blue.

I think about wearing some vintage jeans, converse, white shirt and black or darkgrey suitjacket + (maybe some ray bans )... what do you guys think?
