What's on your list for A/W '05

I am looking forward to some gorgeous red bags -- balenciaga twiggy or city classique in rouge theater, and the alexander mcqueen novak.

I also think the chanel 2.55 reissue will be REALLY big.

i am kinda bugged by the fact marc jacobs bags look like chanel regeritation this fall...i like the grommets prada's using but i can see mass market grommet overkill by oct. why do they have to do that to a good thing!!??

This is by Balenciaga. Its a new style for fall called the Shrug. It retails for $995. They should be available for the middle or end of August and it is my understanding that Balenciaga NY will only be getting in 5 or 6 of each color.

those chloe are great too, i like the paddy still but i feel like i've been way over exposed.

You know where there this season when a bag dominats the scene...for example the YSL flower bag...that was the IT bag for YSL...Gucci when Tom Ford ws around he did a great job...Bottega the bags with the dangling leather strips...Chloe i dont know where to start : bracelet bags, or the mesh bags or if i may say the paddingtons?? can anyone think of any more?

I dont like the Marc Jacobs Chanel-style bags as well. Its too similar to Chanel in every way.

that's interesting because when I saw the picture of kate moss with hers, the first thing that popped in my head was "marc jacobs". sure, the chains and quilting are chanel but the multipocket shape is so clearly MJ. now whether or not you like MJ bags is another issue.

I love the Novak and am trying to get my hands on the blue/grey croc. But I don't think the bag will be an IT bag because it is so d*mn impossible to find!

I'm not too excited about the fall 05 bag collection.. the only 2 bags that caught my eye were the Prada metal goumet (sp?) and the MJ bag in the Kate Moss ad... and Balenciaga goes without saying

I hear ya. but I think it's cute, a little cheeky. I would definitely prefer the quilted multipocket over the regular one. and I dig that kate moss doesn't care. she has a chanel and the MJ, and carries both with aplomb.
