Which Model(s) Have You Met In Person?

Whatever people post on social media is what they feel most of the time, and she had a little incidents some time ago with people that get to know her and with the things she wrote on social media. But this is not the model behavior thread.

Please, explain this better!

Honestly, I assmumed that sometimes when she sounds a little off, it's because she seems to be a sarcastic person and sarcasm is not that easy to write, especially in a foreign language.

Anyone met Hollie May Saker? Judging from her YouTube interviews and tweets she seems really fun and up for a laugh

Yeah, several times and she has a lot of presence in person. She's sweet, affectionate, goofy and down to earth. Not stuck up or entitled in the least. She is also very vocal about her feelings, in that she will stand up for herself. And a little sensitive/emotional/crazy but in an endearing way. Would probably make a good actress.

She told a friend of mine a story about how she was on a train in London once and overheard a group of guys making rude comments about her in Spanish. She surprised them by addressing them in Spanish (think she lived in Spain (?) for a few years growing up). That's very Hollie May.

I was lucky enough to meet a bunch of models this year during the f/w & s/s NYFW shows. I got to shoot backstage at a few shows & then I shot a lot of portraits just stopping people as they walked from show-to-show around Chelsea.

Karlie Kloss - She is truly sweet. I think she's stretched a bit thin though because everywhere I saw her she was being pulled in every direction & shouted at & crowded. I first ran into her riding her bike & she stopped & let me take a dozen or so photos and was really great about it & then re-instagramed the photo I took; she also remembered me from that point on whenever I saw her.

Joan Smalls - She seemed to get special attention wherever I saw her, she was at a show with Karlie, Joan, Chanel etc. and for some reason seemed to have her own special room for her hair & make-up? & When you tried to go near her for a photo they double checked your credentials BUT she is amazing, she let me take 3 photos of her, just three but I remember each one was perfect and her expressions/poses were like slightly varied in the best way, I don't think she is the nicest model out there but I think she's one of the best & is very professional.

Coco Rocha - She acted more like the celebrities backstage than the models, so much attention, moving around everywhere, interviewing. She didn't really let me grab any photos of her but I will live.

Lindsey Wixson - She is so captivating to look at, she knows how to move & express so well too, its insane. After seeing her I wish she sticks around & become an icon. I will saw though, she sorta like Karlie seemed stretched thin- everyone wants a photo of her & she obliges every time I think. Karlie seemed really mature though but Lindsay seemed like a little girl sorta, she also was very quiet and didn't really say anything to anyone it seemed.

Anne V., Codie Young, Daiane Conterato, Josephine Skriver, and Lui Wen I remember all being exceptionally nice.

Ming Xi, Ava Smith, Arlenis Sosa, Jasmine Tookes & Nadja Bender were all a bit cold.

Ming was very sweet when I met her.

I saw this too and I am on Lily's side. She only has a certain amount of time to get changed and be ready to walk and the dresser asked the same question 3 times (Lily answered swiftly each time then shouted it) and the answer was pretty obvious anyway.
If Lily is late SHE gets in trouble, not the dresser.

My point is, if she is rude in countless interactions then yes, she is rude but I certainly don't think it's fair to judge her solely on that one thing.
Imagine how YOU would behave in that situation before you judge her.

But lily has had a reputation as a nightmare for years and years

I met Jing but don't remember how she came off. She was very pretty in person. Eliza was very nice and professional.

Sasha Luss seems very full of herself but just judging because of her interviews. She's a hot model right now but there are much better and profesional models than her that are very grounded.

I've met Sasha a few times. She's stunning in person (moreso than most models I've met). She is a little full of herself but not in an unpleasant or cold way. More in a funny, cutely world-weary way. She is very Russian, cynical and loves to smoke. Her personality is 22 going on 40. You can tell she's lived a lot.

As for Marine- I kind of had the impression she's not really tall, although I only saw her in photos...

Marine is about 5'7".

I think its because she grew up rich and her mother Is supposedly a stylist to the stars and a big name in the industry. Plus she has many famous friends and dates famous guys. Idk maybe thats why she doesn't get excited when she gets recognized

Yeah, the models with more attitude often come from a privileged background. There are exceptions, though. Cara D. is a sweetheart in real life and doesn't take herself seriously at all.

I've met Charlotte Free and her boyfriend Gryphon, who is not her half-brother by the way (that's a rumor they started to mess with people). He is a complete sweetheart and does everything for her. She is very full of herself, child-like, anxious and needy. She will not let him out of her sight and insists that he accompany her everywhere, like she literally refuses to go places alone without him. He seemed a bit drained by her but very in love. I felt sorry for him.

I will say Charlotte is a pretty fascinating person with a lot of presence in real life. Somebody should give her an acting part in a movie (she could only play herself, though).

I remember seeing Sasha and Katya Riabinkina in their first season in New York. They were inseperable and looked like they were excited about doing so well. They let photographers take photos of them and were very friendly.

I have not literally "met" her, but saw Frida Gustavsson twice outside at Fashion Shows. Both times it became pretty obvious that she does not like the chaos and masses of People there. But I don't like to judge someone only by their behaviour in such extreme situations...

I've been a dresser at a few seasons in paris. I dressed Jing Wen tuesday at Each x Other show (pretty surprised when I saw the casting, a lot of top girls were there) she was really soft spoken. We didn't talk really but she seemed very humble and sweet.
