i meet a lot of models in Milan on fashion week in february of 2012. just outside the shows... like a paparazzi,

i remember a lote of girls, but just i had interest in my fav girls in that moment. really a pleasure to see them in real.

Kendra Spears, Kasia Struss, Jac, Bette, Magdalena F, Poly... so natural girls, amazing personality. like normal people. friendly when u ask them for a pic, or about others shows to do...

but some of them like Kati Nesher, Othilia Simon...unkind and sympathetic.

also i spot Marte Mei outside Versace crying and left her way very fast. but i saw her again outside Missoni and she's so adorable. i had pic with her. Also Daiane Miss Poly such a power model in person. Lucette and Ava Smith what a beauty...

I have a few:

Angel Rutledge: kinda abrasive/bitchy. I can't say I've talked to her too much, but she seems to get very easily offended and defensive. I know she can be very nice, but that has not been my experience.

Alice Metza: Very, very sweet and cool.

Lameka Fox: I have never personally met her, but I have heard from several friends that she isn't very nice and is pretty full of herself.

Ruth Bell: I haven't met her, either, but I've heard that she is incredibly sweet and funny.

Ondria Hardin: Despite her "tough as nails" persona (and mini-scandal a couple of months ago), she is a very nice, cool girl. Nice to you if you're nice to her sort of person. A very big party girl.

Juliane Gruner: I'm wondering if anyone remembers her? It's a shame that she hasn't worked in a while, I was a fan a couple of years ago. I've hung out with her before and she's very, very sweet. Probably the nicest model I've met.

This may be a bad example, but I saw Malaika Firth outside of a show a couple years ago and called her name. I was right next to her, so I know she heard me. She completely ignored me and had a pissed-off look on her face. It was couture, so I wouldn't say it was a terribly strenuous week in comparison to others.

Yeah, I met her twice, and I found her really nice... No big stories, but she was the first model ever who stopped and smiled for me. My first fashion show (waiting outside obviously), I was super shy and didn't even dare to approach her and ask for a picture, but she stopped anyways, which gave me confidence.

The second time I "stalked" her in front of her hotel and asked for a picture and my camera was not working at first.She got a little nervous because she was just about to get into a car that was waiting, but she waited anyways.

A lot of models are usually wise beyond their years and grateful for their opportunities, like Karlie and freja...clearly ondria is not one of these types

Has anyone met lindsey wixson recently? Is she still not nice? It's weird cus she used to be bullied and have no friends, how did she become mean. I remember someone posting a comment on an article about her saying that she was chain smoking and being rude to the girl and her boyfriend

You also have to account for the fact that some of these girls have been modeling since they were 13/14/15.....they missed a huge chunk of life that most people experience, a part that is important to shape the person you are/will become. I feel like some models who start so young just aren't very emotionally mature because they've been in an adult industry since they were children.

I previously posted about the women I met but I've been meeting a lot of the men lately and for the most part the male models are generally nice.

Marc Luloh: quite possibly the nicest, sweetest, kindest, human on this planet. He is just SO SO sweet and always smiling, always happy. He seems to really enjoy modeling and I really hope he makes it big. People that nice are the rarest creatures and should just win at life by default.

Jon Hjelholt: This seasons semi-exclusive at Versace. He's very tall, like 6'4" and very charismatic. I like him a lot actually because he just seem like a chill guy.

Lucas Loyola: Also very tall and closer to 6'4". Nice guy but a bit more quiet than his Instagram suggests lol though you can definitely tell that there is a bit of mischief and Bon vivant hiding behind those eyes.

Ben Jordan: A little on the quiet side but once you get into conversation he carries on nicely. He's a total babe.

Dmitry Brylev: funny guy with a great personality. Probably the most "masculine" (as defined by society) of all the guys I've met. Chill, easy to talk to, approachable.

Jacob Morton: I love this kid but he's a real mess!! we were backstage at one of the shows recently and he was no where to be found.mturns out he had made a nice little bed for himself beneath a rack of clothes and went to nap nap hahaha. He has this don't give a f*** vibe and can easily look lost haha. Love him though.

Kit Butler: doesn't say much and generally sticks to himself but will talk to you if approached.

Chris Moore: Now this guy definitely has a resting b*tch face lol I'm a little scared of him but he seems to be cool with the guys he knows, or the Givenchy bros.

Johannes Huble or whatever his name is that's married to Olivia P: No comment... Take that to mean what you want but I'm just thinking "dude, that kid over there gets 20x more work than you..."

Danny Beauchamp: don't know if I spelt that right, but remember him?? Such fun! Forget being approachable, he'll approach you. The first time I met him he made a terrible bathroom joke but I pretended to find it funny hahaha. Just a fun and sweet guy.

Fernando Cabrall: The verdict is still out on him. Been in the same room many times but have never spoken. Seems to keep to himself but I don't think he's a bad guy.

On instagram posts/pictures/youtube vids you can just see that she's a sweet girl and a lot of people speak highly of her. She also has a lot of friends in the industry, varying from lesser know Russian models, cool girls like Nobis, Kasia, Constance to top models like Natasha, Irina Shayk, Toni, Karlie etc.

So I guess she was just having a bad day. I can't always be a nice person either

Lol I'm not the only one who have said this about Daria and whether or not you choose to believe it is your perogative. That's the experience I had with her so that's what I shared. And if what you see on Instagram, YouTube, etc is what you're going by, then you're being naive. But to clarify, I'm not saying Daria is not a nice person, she just wasn't to me.

Anyway my perception is Daria is that she is a nice person, she is part of the group of girls that has the most consistent repuation for niceness - Kasia, Hanne, Nobis, Jacquelyn etc and my experience with Ginta has been very positive, so to me Daria seems like a cool girl by association. She isn't overly nice to her fans on Instagram but she seems to me as if she is reserved and shy as opposed to rude. To me that is better than being fake nice like many girls seem to be any day.

ive been around her before, and she definitely has a cold/unapproachable aura around her. She was on her phone most of the time, but she wasnt speaking to anyone. Maybe she is extremely shy, but I didnt get a a good impression of her either. Ive done the phone trick before when im in a crowded area so I call someone and hope they answer


I met Hanne and her boyfriend recently at a bar. Her boyfriend actually left his card at the bar after he payed, and i noticed as I was walking up and returned it. He was so appreciative of it and thanked me twice. Hanne is super chill and I just complimented her on her jacket. Its so weird running into models in bars in my opinion because i feel like thats a time when they dont want to feel like theyre being watched while theyre trying to enjoy themselves.


Jon K was on my plane that Monday after the Oscars. He was already sitting in his seat when i got on, he also looked a bit hungover it was a 9AM flight (not a direct one either) the day after the Oscars so im sure he didnt want to be bothered

Now I don't know where some people get off being so defensive about their favorite model but people should chill. I don't think I ever requested that Daria be nice 24/7, but I was just recounting my experience.

Yeah, that's my impression, too, and I also like that better than fake nice, or better to say - being introverted myself - I "understand" it better than the super extroverted girls.

To me she seemed always nice, but she's less "playing the game" than other girls, and I have a couple of pictures of her where she seems very much with herself ( lit. "intro-verted") even though she's in the middle of a huge crowd. I don't want to say I'm right and thatrascal is wrong, but IMO it's got a lot to do with personal perception and after all, maybe she just had a bad day.

And yeah, I tend to be defensive when it comes to model encounters, too.... I'm kind of aware how weird and maybe questionable this amateur photographer - after show situation is, I'm also aware that it is an extreme situation for the models, especially very young, very shy girls. I don't want to make use of it and then complain how terrible everyone was. And I think a huge lot of encounters described in this thread happened during fashion weeks.

Also most negative impressions we describe here are more of a "vibes" thing. it's so not nice to see someone for a few seconds in an extreme situation and then rumble on the internet how bad that person was.... With this I don't mean thatrascal (your situation was different) or anyone else in particular, just, you know, I get those "when I saw you for the first time I thought you were terrible arrogant" comments, and after all, models are just human beings, either...
