Who will be Giorgio Armani's successor?

I believe Armani only is directly involved in his Black Label and Prive lines (Collezioni included)?

I hadn't thought how well Armani menswear does, and just realized the "Armani" label is to the everyday man what "Chanel" is to the everyday woman: The epitome of high fashion... So I suppose no revamping of it anytime soon. Too bad.

In contradiction to my earlier post, I say send Pilati to Armani and install Slimane at YSL.

wierdly enough, i could see that happening. there's a fluidity in pilati's work of late that i could see translating into armani pretty seamlessly. also, pilati is an italian so he'd keep that piece of the legacy alive.
