World's Longest Catwalk This Weekend

This Saturday, the city of Düsseldorf will celebrate the Bicentennial of its main shopping street - the Königsallee (I like to call it Germany's Rodeo Drive). At the same time, the „cpd woman_man“ Fashion Fair is taking place.

There will be a 700 meter (2200 ft.) long catwalk on the "Kö" with some 200 models presenting the 2004 Fall/Winter Collections.

On Sunday, there will be a historic fashion show about trends from Baroque until today on the same place. Stores will be open in the afternoon (usually closed in Germany).

There will be different musical acts throughout, including a Classical concert at night.

Let's hope the weather will be kind to us.....

It was wonderful, Naomi Campbell was there, too. I must ask for your patience with the pictures though, I haven't been able to properly install my software for the digicam yet (driver/USB problems).
