X Factor is Back!

Im just watching the first episode of the new series of X factor and I have never laughed so hard in my life. How can some of these people actually think they have talent?! Cant really pick a winner just yet but usually the winners are rubbish - only exception being Will Young! That Shayne Ward dude was lame!
Any way, I thought we can all discuss the new series here, unless you want to add it to the last one. Its up to you.

I don't see how Leona can't win, unless the public go completely crazy.
She is by far and away the most talented person left in the competition and has been throughout. It would be a travesty, imo, if she doesn't come out on top.

Ben has a huge tendency to shout and grunt as opposed to singing. Ray is er well better suited to the West End rather than a pop career, and The MacDonald Brothers, I have no comment.

Eton Road went on Saturday. It was them and Ben in the bottom 2.

I think Ben is seriously over-hyped. Just because his voice is different doesn't mean that it's good.

I agree with everything you said. I hate it when they say all of Scotland are voting for the MacDonald Bros. Most people I speak to hate them too!

I sympathise truebluejen! I think it's rather idiotic to blame the entire nation. Scotland has a much smaller population than England does, comparitively so it can't be just the Scots keeping them in by themselves. But the media/people in general always like to have someone to blame.

I think it is as much people who are voting to spite Simon, his comments have helped the brothers to get a large sympathy vote, imo. Plus they are the sort of act who attract the middle to old age female vote 'because they are nice young lads' (you know the sort)

At this rate I would not be surprised if the MacDonald's managed to get themselves into the final.

I have to agree that Ray does sometimes remind me of someone out of a different era, especially considering his choices of songs.

I think he is better off in a career where he can be more of an all round entertainer. He doesn't have the strongest or greatest voice but it is good enough to do musicals in the West End, where he would also be able to use his acting skills.

I think he'll probably go this week, leaving each judge with one act each.
