Your Favourite Editorials

I love that Alice in Wonderland one. I recognize only a few of the designers though. Could someone id them? Thank you!

That's interesting Progenitor, since I can only see her beauteous eyes in that cover. Because the way the letters of the cover is perfectly aligned with her striking eyes, I get stuck there and my eyes do not linger on the breasts much ;) I think this could be a Y chromosome thing, really....

I, also, like the cover a LOT, even though it may not be my all time favourite.

I'm not a fan of the first Russian cover you poster, Hugo...
Recently, I thought an editorial called "Be Cool" in American Vogue (May 2005) was very successful!

Another one that I still can't get over is called "The Chic of The New" form the January 2005 American Vogue

hope i have these in the right order:
Olivier Theyskens
Tom Ford
(Helmut Lang is supposed to be on the wall in the 3rd one...maybe in the painting? my eyesight sucks)
Marc Jacobs
Karl Lagerfeld
Jean Paul Gaultier
Rolf Snoeren and Viktor Horsting
Stephen Jones & Christian Lacroix
John Galliano, Alexis Roche
Donatella Versace, Rupert Everett
and the last one, i'm not sure...guessing Nicolas Ghesquière?

Favorite Edit? Oh my! My favorite topic!

VMag, last month w/ Daria: Gang-Related, styled by Charlotte Stockdale..Especially her take on Puritan culture & military styles. No other edit in recent times have tickled my imagination as much as this one has!

Vogue Hommes International, 2 or 3 years ago: models styled like 80's pimps-n-hoes from Harlem, complete w/ large fur coats & tacky gold jewelry (for the pimps, who were real-life drag-kings) and garish make-up & big hair (for the hoes), of course in clothing from 2 or 3 years ago...Forgot the stylist, but I think Terry Richardson was the photographer. AMAZING!

I love Zink Magazine
Me too. I only have a few issues but Zink isn't sold nearby. Each month I promise myself a subscription... Thanks for the reminder, I must need a more frequent one...

I loved the editorial in December 2004 British Vogue where Rie Rasmussen is travelling through Siberia to China and the 20 page spread tracks the journey. It's just a stunning and unique shoot.

i love the edit posted by hugobossandaria with the "asia on acid" theme.... anyone know by chance who the photog and stylist were?

i'm torn between "grunge and glory" & "the magic hour"

selections from "the magic hour" (us elle)...erin wasson ()

and i love "grunge and glory" (steven miesel) because it contains one of my favorite photographs of all time...of nadja auermann...

i love natural beauty. which you'll notice these two edit.s feature. i don't think either erin or nadja are wearing much makeup...they're in natural light...
they're plain old beautiful.

what happened to this thread..I just discovered it and wondered why there arent more posts!

It's hard to pick just one editorial when there have been so so so many....but my recent fav is Asexual Revolution, photographed by Steven Meisel for W...I love it for the pure controversial subject and its stimulating images (there are more pics in the style.com website)
