Guessgirl, have a look back in the pics..there's one of me with my oversize. Im only 5ft2.

I get so many compliments from people about the bag. At first I was worried about the size, but NOW i don't know how i'm ever going back to 'normal' size bags. I've been using the MUSE non-stop through my relocation to Hong Kong...all my other babies are packed and en-route. Eeeekk..all my other bags are going to seem so small...and somehow impractical!!!

On another note...apparently the embosser is NOT coming to Singapore, and has already left Hong Kong, so I will very sadly not have it done. It's such a nice idea!!

I dont know about embossing, but I'm sure you can still get your initials engraved. I know theres a place by me called things remembered that does evgraved everything, I'm sure you can find someplace like that by you :-)

That's a great idea! Thanks for the suggestion. I really think you should try the bag IRL. You'll be surprised how quickly the size grows on you!!

I've been wondering if I should waitlist for the bag, the only thing thats holding me back now is that it seems to be very very casual in the XL size. Bags like the spy and balenciaga can be dressed up a little bit to go out, but this one seems to be strictly casual, like you couldn't even go to a doctors appt with it. Would you guys agree, or am I just making up reasons why I dont need this bag?

guess - I agree that this bag might not go well with the girly dressy or nightout outfits. But I think it is a really great day bag. I love it simplicity look and feel also give you an edge at the same time. I can see myself carrying it with my skinny jeans white singlet or ading my grey vest on top of it or any of my black outfits. I think it also would look good with my business suits.

I think the XL is a great day bag as said....and can also be used as an overnight as it is large enough..

Thanks for the opinions everyone! If I have extra $$ after the rest of my s/s bag purchases, I'll try it out and see how I like it. I could always return as long as I dont get it from YSL.

they both share the same outline & figure, but the letter 'Y' acts differently here....i love the side view of it.

...i didn't notice you had posted this! ... no, apparently it's not a muse... this style is called the "fauve" ... i love the white jaguar print oversized version so much... i really need to see this style in person!!
