...i didn't notice you had posted this! ... no, apparently it's not a muse... this style is called the "fauve" ... i love the white jaguar print oversized version so much... i really need to see this style in person!!

thanks brian for the info:flower:
what i like in the fauve, that it gives intresting view with each angel

I wonder if the intial service does include the FAUVE ?

i actually like the jaguar print the best of all of them...

I've been wondering if I should waitlist for the bag, the only thing thats holding me back now is that it seems to be very very casual in the XL size. Bags like the spy and balenciaga can be dressed up a little bit to go out, but this one seems to be strictly casual, like you couldn't even go to a doctors appt with it. Would you guys agree, or am I just making up reasons why I dont need this bag? :ninja:

I disagree...the leather is really beautiful and refined...it can't be considered too casual for that reason. Sure, you couldn't wear it on a hot date though:D IMO it is MUCH more dressed up than the balenciaga. THat is the quintessential casual bag.

Brian....i think you must have had a bad day that day...the Day of the Muse was a bit rough for you wasn't it??

i guess... it must've been a bad one... the leather was awful... still traumatised....

.....but i love the jaguar fauve... who knows, i may end up getting that one.... :innocent:

Me too. Animal prints are just not for me...

I remember maybe about 5-7 years ago, my mom went a little bit crazy with it. Animal print rug, drapes, bed set, lamp shade, ironing board cover, everything you can imagine all in one room. Thankfully that's all out of the house but I think that ruined tastefull animal prints forever for me

Is it really more dressed up than a balenciaga? I could imagine going on a hot date with my balenciaga, but I'm not sure about this bag.

I agree the leather does look very beautiful. I think that may be one of the main reasons I like the bag.

I don't actually own a balenciaga...so it's just my opinion...but i do think it's more dressy...especially the brown. The gold hardware makes it a bit more sophisticated. In my mind it's about the same dressiness as the stam.

swapped my ivory muse for the black today...just think I will get more wear out of it and have decided to keep the vanilla paddington...

Congratulation missbradshaw - Can you please post the pic with you carry it. I want to see how big the large I'm considering getting one I think the Xl would look way to big on me.

ohhhhh...i haven't seen the black! What other colours did you see? Was it a new shipment????

Not sure....when I bought the Ivory they didnt have the Black.it is so nice, think the hardware shows up better on the darker colours. Am going to use it today will post pics later

got mine today with my hubby 3 initials..i love it...I also saw an AMAZING ivory CROC muse..the most amazing matte croc...........was a little bit over 14,000 euros....

the "fauve" bag is far more striking.

i dont know, i find the muse to be boring. there are so many beautiful bags in the same price range, i dont see anything special about it i guess

same, i like the design of the choc/suede detail fauve much more overall.. but i like the cute little gold clasp on the muse..
please post pics of how they engraved the initials!

Love this bag - and I think the smaller size is a great every day into evening bag. It's not all that small - it's just small compared to the larger sizes. I've ordered in white (but I love the black too - white? black? white? black? - order both and return one? any opinions out there?)

Okay - already figured this out. Bergdorf's has the black in stock in the large size, free shipping, no tax - so I ordered that (paid an extra $10 to have it shipped two-day). In the meantime, I have the small white preordered. Now I'm not planning on keeping both - ha ha - we'll see!
