i tried on the real leather pants at zara. they cost 199$. they were very difficult to put on. even the size 8 did not fit me. one of the pairs i saw in the store were ripped at the crotch.

i have not had a problem with zara shoes except for one pair last season. they made a strange squelching noise when i walked in them.very noisy. so noisy in fact i could only wear them at concerts or places where there was loud music.

Heard that Zara is opening its first store in India, Bombay ( my hometown) next month. Very excited!

yep i'm aware of end of season sales, but there are some mid season reduction . lucky you guys, the big sales start like 3 weeks after the europe ones... sucks.

i tried this top on last night. the fit was OK, but as someone else said, the shoulder pads are barely hanging in there. i'd definitely get them reinforced, which i will if the black version ever rolls in. the grey washed me out horribly.

i saw an amazing pair of black leather platform boots with silver hardware across the back. kind of '80s future or something. for $109, i can't decide, but as someone else mentioned, all of my shoes kill me whether they're lanvin or loubs or cheapies, so i may as well try. the only other platforms to catch my eye this season have been a pair of pierre hardys, which i'd like to buy once they're on sale because 1K is just not in the cards for boots that will deal with harsh winters.

sadly, the US stores dont seem to bother doing any mid season reduction.

another thing i forgot to mention about the leather pants zara did this season is that they have an odd fish-like smell.

I actually tried it on but didn't really like it on me esp. not the round collar. Don't remember the exact price but I think it was somewhere between 80 and 90 €.
