whats up with this 'special price" stickers on items? has zara realized that some of their stuff is priced way too high?

The ones in the pic do not look nothing like the ones I saw in Central London with the special sticker. Yes they are high and suede, black and grey, but not thigh high and they do not look so narrow.

The only thing thigh high i saw were the one with the high heel, but the "leather" looks very very cheap. Very hookerish...

Are the US stores getting any of the good stuff???? I mean the shoulder pads blazers, top, dresses? The platform boots? The hot platform cuffed sandals???? I went by my local Zara again yesterday and they don't have anything good!!!!!

my zara's didnt have anything like that either! though i did get a sequin shoulder pad sweater/jumper, 2 embellished waistcoats, and a studded denim jacket. and spent way more than i expected. i did see the studded skirt, and a pair of shoes that were posted earlier when all the shoes for winter 2009 was posted but it was not in my size.

I think it's weird how they have different things. I never really liked Zara until last month. My cousin would always drag me in and I never found anything that I liked but then in Rome I had to buy some more clothes (I was there during a heatwave and didn't have nearly enough skirts lol) and they had such amazing things I was like and when did this happen?! lol

Was in Newbury street in Boston today and Zara was surprisley well stocked and organized. Maybe it was the time of day but I loved the jackets this coming Fall, didn't see the thigh high boots though.. almost bought these lacey ankle boots but were so uncomforable Did buy an knee length gray overcoat, fitted perfectly and black skinnies with a few exposed zippers. And I seen the 'special price' shoes on sale as well, some great pices so I'm not complaining

I love all the stuff they have in stock and that everyone is buying but Zara just fits me horribly. There is always one part of a shirt that is too small/too big/too long/too short. Boo - they have some great stuff.

the most things people post here they dont have in my local store.

I bought the gray blazer with shoulder pads at the Zara on 5th ave in NY. The Zara on Newbury St. has been getting great pieces lately, but girls in Boston don't really understand certain trends so I'm hoping that things will be left over for markdowns at the end of the season!!

^I bought the black shoes. Irulan also has them and she said she couldn't walk in them when she was drunk. So she had to call a taxi.

Brini, one more question: Is the bag made from real or fake leather?
