I have those wedge booties on black too, voguebobdylan :) I got them full price 2 moths ago, but they are easily some of may favs ..VERY comfy AND they give you a height boost as well :)
lifeistiffanyblu, as far as I know they always have a clearance ,just not on ALL of the items, that's what I've noticed, they aren't really well organized when it comes to that :/

thanks so much! there are these sandals I want and they basically have tons of them in every store that I go into but its just since theres so much stock for it I am expecting it to reduce even further eheh and I dont want to be dissapointed by paying an amount and then seeing the shoes marked down further the next day!

whats the tiger print sweater everyone's talking about?I havent seen it...:innocent:

emma peel, I'm glad to hear you like it ,hehe I know what you mean by the long hair, mine is like that and yes I have noticed that it helps when wearing it :)
lifeistiffanyblu, I bet that if you are a little bit patient you'll get those on a super-sale :D just keep checking the store :D the extra few bucks will help
the tiger sweater is a perfect print copy of a Stella Mccartney's tiger tank top (Megan Fox wore it once) and I've seen it too, it's really nice, they had it on a cotton tee as well :)

can somebody please tell me if this shoes in black is still avaible? are these from the new spring collection??

The Zara sale is driving me nuts. I managed to find a matching pair of basic black ballerina flats and than all but fled the scene. (I did pay first of course.;))

Shoes seem to be the only thing I'm buying at Zara anymore, at least you don't have to unknot them from a pile of clothes (if you're lucky). :ninja:

I don't get why they let this chaos happen. There was a table with beautifully printed silk blouses and I swear that every single one of them was ripped. What's the point??

It is not zara`s fault, customers these days are not that nice. I used to work in Zara for a long time, and customers are exceptional there (there are many nice ones too) - they rip clothes, try white ones one while having tons of foundation on and leaving stains, drop clothes on the ground and dont even bother to step over if somethings lying there. I was running all sweaty all the time trying to tidy up, its just impossible, most people dont respect Zara as a store.

omg pucca engel I love those flats I think they look really nice in the silver as well. I have never seen them. Does anyone know their RRP in the UK?

Which, to me, is strange because I don't see the same happening at H&M, Mango, Zero, Benetton, Promod, Kookai... The whole pile-it-on-a-table thing doesn't work during the sale and to me, it's just lazy. It's silk, it's delicate. Treat it like that.

its naive to pile clothes on a table and expect them not to be messy during sale time.

i dont look through piles on the tables. id rather look at clothing on a rack.

^^^One thing that really bothers me is the hangers they use, everything keeps falling off! I hate that!

another reason that zara piles the sales clothing on tables is to shame customers into looking at the full priced racks instead.

lets face it, no one wants to be pawing through piles of clothes haphazardly. :innocent:

^In particular not when you keep bumping into people. I get tired from just watching the piles because they are so tall - how on earth do they even get it sold?

IA. I worked in H&M for a while and there's no doubt that in sales times, it gets messy too. But at least most of the damn clothes are on racks which makes it possible to actual see it. When it's buried under a ton of clothes, it's literally impossible to get a good look at the garment. And where are you even supposed to move all the clothes to get to the bottom?

cool Vickycookie, maybe you can show us a pic of you wearing it <3 would be rad, I think it's a great blazer !!!
I've noticed people do the same thing here at Zara, I just don;t get it, it;s like they have no respect for the work that's been put into making those clothes :(

Just bought the suede black thigh high boots on eBay! We dont get Zara in Australia so it is my first Zara purchase - Im pretty excited, not going to lie!

that model is wonderful, Dior*kiss :)
Australia has some pretty cool stores though, don;t worry about not having Zara there, I'd rather have Ksubi in my country rather than Zara to be honest :B

Totally agree! Even on the cheapest markets they sometimes have fancy hangers for crappy $2 tops.... No offence to any markets out there though.
And Zara has some pricey items just wasting away on those tables!

Lucy92 - Yeah they obviously want to sell the full priced collections, but don't they also need to get rid of the sales items as the prices go lower and lower, and they make less and less profit from it?

whatever doesnt sell at zara during sales time goes to the zara outlets. some items even wind up at marshalls/tj maxx here. they might make more of a profit sending it there.
