Zara #5

Zara has some really nice flats for this summer season. I like quite a few of flat sandals.^_^

bought these shoes (like the chloe ones from this season) and size 41 is too small. i hate it when they do this! :( zara needs to make shoes for big feet, like topshop!

^ Zara's shoesize is so all over the place :( At least now they make 41 more often (which maybe eight years ago they didn't).

Does anyone know if Zara usually does a sale this time of year? I know Topshop and H&M (and lots of other stores come to think of it...) are.

No, it only has a summer sale (in June/July depending on the country) and a winter one (December/January).

Thanks! That means I can buy the stuff I want without stressing that it's gonna go on sale a day later ^_^

yes and for some reason they always only deduct prices by about £5...until a few months later when everything is a more reasonable price

Those are mid-season sales for most retailers who have 4 seasons in the year (Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter) and are wanting to get rid of the Spring stock in order to introduce the new Summer stock to the shop floor.

Does anyone have an opinion on Zara Home sheets? I need a new flat sheet and couldn't find the thread count on the packaging. They are pretty but ¥249 is a lot of money if it is going to be crap quality.

I am really disappointed by ZARA these days. The last few pieces I got there ripped within a few times that I wore them. One jumper didn´t even survived one time. Some pants survived 3 days. Others ripped after 3 washes. And so one. I´m really disappointed in their quality.

Oh my lord..they have made these in beige

Yeah, I bought one of their pants once and they ripped right down the crotch within the first day...

I've noticed that Zara is now making many items in polyester and it's still priced the same when it (e.g. blouse, button up) was cotton.

^yep their quality has gone down the drain in the past two years, like it's going out of style.. screw that, I'm not buying from them anymore..

Despite their clothing being absolute rubbish lately their home stuff is quite good. It's actually made by a separate company entirely. Their high end linen is fabulous same for the towels. I would wait until the half yearly sale and stock up then on the most expensive Egyptian cotton sheets you can buy. I buy some during each sale.

I've bought some shirts and a dress in the past few months, and there was nothing wrong with the quality whatsoever.

Did anyone try these? I wonder if they are somewhat comfortable as the sole suggests...

I've experienced the same... Patched them, so they became my home jeans. Soon enough zipper broke, belt loops - without even wearing a belt, rivets fell off... all within a month. Gross. After that I never went near the jeans or pants section again, I swear...
