Jeanne Lanvin Embellished Robe de Style
French, early 1920s
Of black silk taffeta, the upper portion of the sleeveless bodice of black silk chiffon embroidered overall with discs of silver beads centered by a rhinestone, extending to crested taffeta midriff flap, V-neckline front and back and armscyes with band of similar embroidery, faux rectangular brooch motif at center front with beaded fringe, similar at back with faux emeralds, dropped waistline self piped with self bow and streamers at back, the billowing skirt ruched at side hips and embroidered with a central row of eight large circular geometric motifs in silver bugle beads, sequins, seed beads, clear and green rhinestones, the scalloped hem with picot edged tulle trim overlaid with a scalloped deep band of saw toothed and floral patterned black lace, size 8, no label.
Taffeta fragile and torn in various places, lining shattered.

Jeanne Lanvin Embroidered Black Silk Tulle Evening Dress
French, Ete 1922
The sleeveless demi Empire bodice and hem embellished with vermiculate copper silk thread and floral medallions, the underdress of supple bronze silk mesh, darted bodice with wide petersham waistband, pleated skirt, celadon silk lining, size 6, labeled: Jeanne Lanvin/Paris/Ete 1922.
Very good condition, lining very fractured.

Lanvin Shimmering Silver Beaded Chemise
1929
Two-piece, sewn overall with minute silver bugle beads, the skirt woven with signature pink tied bow and streamers, the beadwork of the separate V-neck bodice sewn at edges at various angles to create a band effect, size 8, labeled: Jeanne Lanvin/Paris/Ete 1929, no.22131.
Very good condition, minor darkening to beads.

Of black silk taffeta, waist length, with low square cut armscye, embroidered with hammered silver octagonal studs arranged in oval groups of six, labeled: Jeanne Lanvin/Paris/22 Frg St. Honore/Ete 1936.
Good condition.

French, 1922
Of red velvet, above the knee length at front, curving below the knee at back, the abstracted scrollwork pattern embroidered in horizontal bands with silver and gold metallic threads worked in three degrees of density and texture, the faintest a shadow effect created by fine top stitching, wide brown fur band collar, black silk satin lining with horizontal cording.
Very good condition, some darkening of metals and faint darker areas, lining released to effect smooth drape.
The cape is documented in the Lanvin archives and dated March, 1922.

French, 1928
The sleeveless chemise seamed on the diagonal at mid torso, the top and bottom of loose over bodice following the same diagonal line to create a one-shoulder effect as it spirals front to back, elaborate beaded long band sewn at 'bare' shoulder reaching below hem, size 6, labeled: Jeanne Lanvin/Paris/Hiver/1928.
Excellent condition.

French, 1916
The voluminous 'monastic' style dress of brown satin embroidered with pearlescent white beadwork from shoulders to mid thigh to form tunic shape, the fullness created with pleating under each arm, folding into narrow line when belted, the long sleeves tapered and flared at cuff, waist length underbodice with grosgrain band at bottom, narrow tie belt, closures at shoulder and back neckline, labeled on band: Jeanne Lanvin/Paris/Hiver 1916, the date embroidered in blue thread.
Excellent condition, belt probably not original.
