VINTAGE 1930's GOLD LAMÈ TASSEL JACKET
An exceptional quality vintage 1930's gold lame jacket, with incredible fabric woven with gold hued actual metal thread, and floral motifs in soft shades of lime, yellow and orange. Two huge twisted metal thread gold tassels adorn the front hem and the back neckline. Soft blouson styling with a neck tie that can be loosely knotted, and unusual triangular tabs at the cuffs and front hem. Lined in black silk.

VINTAGE 1930's FLORAL PRINTED SATIN JACKET
An absolutely stunning vintage 1930's evening jacket. The fabric is an incredible textured, (almost embossed in effect) black satin, printed with a trailing floral design.The colouration is beautiful, mixing violet, fuchsia pink and bold red shades. The unlined jacket has soft puffed sleeves and two art deco glass buttons, on a twisted thread fastening. Would look equally stylish over an evening gown or teamed with jeans for daytime.

VINTAGE 1930's GOLD JACQUARD WEDDING DRESS
A simply stunning vintage wedding dress, handmade by the original owner circa 1938. The dress has soft puffed sleeves and a lengthened back hem for a small train effect. The fabric is beautiful, a satin jacquard weave of branch motifs mixing cream and metallic gold threads, resulting in a creamy satin with subtle pale gold shimmering through on the linear pattern. As the dress was homemade it is unlined, and the interior finishing is simple.

1930's sheer chiffon dark blue flowered dress with net cutout details and a matching underslip. There is shirring along the shoulders and a cutout applique of net in a flower design trimming the neck opening. Several small fabric covered buttons down the front of the bodice. The sleeves are very full, with the net flower cutout appliques trimming the sleeve opening. The entire upper back is smocked - see close-ups. Matching belt around the waist. Gored straight skirt. Side snap opening.

Gorgeous gold-bronze fine silk lace 1930's dress & jacket. The lace is extremely fine with a sheen you only find with silk, high quality. The dress has short cap sleeves, a v-neckline with a long tie and keyhole opening in the front. Bias-cut and tailored with V's on the bodice and at the hips. Side flares on the skirt. The jacket is classic 1930's with bell sleeves, a subtle floppy lapel and a tie front. No openings, will have to wiggle in.

Exquisite 1930's Evening Gown w/ Gold Paint & Velvet Appliques
An EXQUISITE and elegant gown!!! Made from black taffeta, the gown features a plunging neckline, with the bodice gathered into fan shaped shoulder accents tied with black velvet bands. The full, sweeping skirt is adorned with large burnt velvet floral appliques and painted gold leaves. The back of the gown has criss crossed black velvet straps and self fabric buttons from the waist. This is certainly a dramatic and unique gown!

EXCEPTIONAL Pink & Black Lace 1930's Evening Gown
A truly exceptional 1930's evening gown in palest pink (almost nude) and black lace. I must admit that I am not an expert in laces, so I am unclear as to the process used to create this particular type of lace. Regardless, it is a STUNNING gown. It is cut on the bias and has a gathered bustline with a small ruffle down the center. Thin straps, made from pale pink (almost nude) faille covered in black lace, come to a "V" in the back. Hem is bound with the same pale pink faille. Side snap and hook/eye closures. Matching black acetate liner with pink faille trim (shows through to accent the gown nicely) and nude marquisette straps to mirror the shape of the straps on the gown. The liner has a side metal zipper.

An awesome 1930's evening gown in sheer black tulle. Ruffled taffeta on the puffed short sleeves. More rows of ruffled taffeta on the sweeping full skirt. Side snap closures. Please note that this is a completely SHEER black dress. I didn't have a slip in stock that would fit under it so it is shown with the cover of the dress from showing through. Really, any black slip will work, or you can be adventurous and wear a colorful slip unerneath instead (how about red?!).

Pulls on over head with no fastenings except for the tie at the neck; shirred elasticized waist helps you get into it. Has three-quarter length sleeves with elastic at hem, wide band of shirred elasticized fabric at waist and unusual triangular panels at hips. Fabric is rayon crepe, lightweight and unlined. No label.

1930s Velvet and Jacquard Rayon Formal NR
Fabric is rayon. No label, no lining. Fair condition ONLY with the following flaws: has the repair on top of the shoulder that you see in the close-up; numerous brown spots on the skirt as you see in the photos ( I haven’t tried to clean it) and a 1” tear in the fabric near the nape of the neck. True colors are black and off-white. Has metal hooks and eyes down left side, short puffed sleeves, V-neck, fitted bodice and very full jacquard skirt.
