Theron Wins SAG Award for Best Film Actress

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - South African-born Charlize Theron won the Screen Actors Guild award for best actress in a film for her performance as a serial killer in "Monster."
A Screen Actors Guild award often puts the winner in the front-runner position heading into the Oscars, the U.S. film industry's top honors given out on Feb. 29, because many SAG winners have often gone on to win the Oscar.
