Not to me! I'm so happy.. he deserves it SO much. I'm in love with (mostly) all of the movies he's ever made.. the ones I've seen, anyway.

Johnny Depp winning... Please! A campy Keith Richards-turned-pirate performance is so underserving compared to Bill Murray's effortless and heartbreaking performance in Lost In Translation. You can't imagine it without him; the film simply wouldn't exist. His mixture of sadness, self-deprecating wit and exhaustion gives the movie not only its soul, but also its tone.

I know he will win the Oscar, they are always full of surprises (Adrien Brody winning Best Actor last year) and the SAGs recently haven't been so accurate. Last year alone, only 1, out of the 4 categories (Best Actor, Actress, Supp. Actor and Actress), won in the Oscars - Catherine Zeta-Jones for Chicago.

I know this off topic, so I apologize in advance~ Elijah Wood- he rode Baccus! He shouldn't be wearing the tights... I being able to do the whole Lundi Gras and Mardi Gras deal, but I couldn't help but giggle at Elijah... I'd rather see him on another crew- maybe Orpheus... not Rex, Endymion, or Zulu. sigh... it was still a fun parade (so I heard and saw... I was sick~)

OT also - Dominic Monaghan & Nicole Miller rode Orpheus I think Elijah looked cute! He was seen making out with 2 girls at once though. Naughty Hobbit.

A bill murray type role winning another award...i hope not ...we've been there, done that. Its time to recognize other styles of acting.

C Z-J looks like one of those Playboy models trying to be taken seriously. Gold dress and huge hair? Ugh. She's too skinny on top of everything; she looked better with some of the baby weight still on. (Off topic, but did anybody see the pictures of Kate Moss in the surf holding her daughter right after she was born? She looked amazing! I wish she'd have kept it on.)
