Lupita had a subtle perfomance that was quite moving. With these award ceremonies it's not always the ones who deserve to win, but those who have the connections. Hopefully, Lupita will fare better for the oscars, but I know that they really want Jennifer to make history.

She was far better in Hustle than she was in Silver Linings if you ask me... but BOTH of those performances are nowhere near what Lupita did in 12 Years A Slave.

But it is the HFPA after all so
