I'm routing for Meryl. It's way harder to do a real person than a fictional character.

It's hard to say that no one else could do what Meryl did (cause no one else has ever tried), but no doubt Meryl deserves the award moreso than Sandra Bullock.

I never said she deserved an Oscar... I said that they felt like it was time to give her one. Same could be said about Julia Roberts. Movie stars win Oscars; thespians often don't as a result.

Completely agree. Adding unnecessary time to the whole marathon and it was an ego fest
