82nd Academy Awards

yeah for 'Secreto de sus ojos' - it's such a great movie - i just loved it! well done - estupendo Argentina

^^^ sh*t hapens.

hurrah gordis!.

* how lovely that he mentioned Chile.

I KNEW the White Ribbon wasn't going to get the foreign language Oscar. It always goes to a dark horse.

Let the man finish his damn speech, he won!
 I know.. it's so rude. but there's a countdown.. they should know they can't thank the whole world. they should just thank themselves and get it over..

If I won an Oscar someday my speech will be "I don't want to thank anybody. Thanks."

This is soo f****g rude! Let the man finish his damn speech, he won!

i agree he couldn't even finish thanking people in argentina or say at least one sentence in spanish - terrible!

the sound editors/sound-responsibles are the worst!

i guessed the white ribbon would not win although well i still was rooting for it a bit for patriotic reason - but i think that haneke's movies are kind of 'difficult' - i haven't seen the white ribbon

but: i have seen 'el secreto de sus ojos' and i loved the movie so it is well deserved! so wonderful for the argentinian movie business

actor in a leading role! wow, who will win????

wow michelle pfeiffer, julianne moore! great to see these two

michelle.

all that black and red smells like christmas never left though. :ninja:

El secreto de sus ojos!!!

loved it. Juan José campanella deserved it.
if you haven't seen his films, El hijo de la novia, Luna de Avellanada

give them a chance they are great.

y Ricardo Darin! el mejor actor de America Latina. Bravo!!!

tough competition, i saw all the foreign films, and yes it deserved it.

didn't win the Goya, but it won the Oscar. ^_^

Michelle Pfeiffer looks PHENOMENAL. How old is she anyway. I still want her to win an Oscar one of this day.

Same thing for Julianne Moore.

Michelle Pfiffer is one of the most beautiful women of all time... but tonight she could have looked a lot better.

Julianne Moore is terribly overrated, but she looks fantastic, and definitely looks the best of everyone onstage. Right behind Colin Ferrel, of course. :brows:

So all the acceptance speeches were rushed so we can get to listen to all these people kiss a** to the best actor nominees...

I really hope Sandra Bullock doesn't win the Oscar. Her nomination in that role is a joke, and compared to the performances of other actresses, she does not deserve the award.
