Blah. Hopefully next year is a better year for movies.

I saw quite a few films last year, but none of the ones I truly loved really got any recognition: Moneyball, Drive, TGWDT, Melancholia, DH2, Shame, Mission Impossible 4, etc. Kind of sucks.

None of the wins made me angry. So I'm happy about that. I always wish the awards could be spread more around. But whatever, that's fine. Happy for The Artist, and I still haven't seen it.

Thanks to everyone for the help, the information, the laughs. It's been so fun! And I got to make my own speech.

I'm totally with you Sobriquet. It was really an impressive year with fantastic films so I'm extremely pissed that the entire awards season fell into the predictable trap. Some winnings tonight please others really makes me angry or sad. But hey it's just Cinema right
Can't believe I always stay up all night and end up being disapointed. Next year better be amazing at least fashion wise. Usually I have this comfort myself, now I'll just go to bed dreaming of Christian Bale and Ronney Mara my favourite moments of the night. (Cool combo actually )

I think this is it for now. Meryl is now has 3.

I'm the same none of the wins are upsetting. I think overall it was a good show and my favs (Gwyneth, Cameron, Emma, Jessica, Meryl) brought it on the carpet.
