my 2 all time favs have to be christy and naomi cos they are unique.
all other girls could have been replaced. but not these 2. oh, yes, and helena.
claudia has a twin right now. doutzen is prettier, but not so sexy version of claudia, IMO

i will never understand how claudia and cindy got to be so big. they are very plane. they are like zoolander... 2 looks and that is all

At the time, it made sense that Cindy was huge, but now it doesn't. She was rather exotic looking for the time, but she was not a good ed model at all. Her pictures lack the "art" that you could find with Christy, Linda and Kate's pics.

MJ,did you jump inside of my head,jokes?! Thats pretty much how I've seen it for years. Naomi & Christy were among that exclusive club of top 5 successful girls of the era period but IMO unlike Cindy & Claudia(who were in there too) they weren't cheesy/too commerical,versatile and they really worked(tons of material)and were favs of so many designers & photographers. What really does it for me is that they are still successful,remembered & still look great today. Photo Source:most are my scans. I like all the girls from that particular era!!! They all had something!!!
Now, 10-15 years after, real value is shown!!! Only the biggest survived the time jump and fashion change! Timeless beauties like Christy, Naomi, Helena, Linda and I must say Claudia and Cindy will always be IN!

kate will always be the one that broke all the rules. i know that many people dislike kate (on the other hand, she does have like a billion fans) but the thing about her is that she can transform and even though she is different from all other supers, she managed to keep up with them, and eventually, kate become larger than life. her apperencee is one the moments that changed fashion.

I agree. I never understood Kate's appeal. She's short for a model, bow-legged, crooked teeth. She looked so out of place compared to the other models (who were very beautiful). In fact, I lost interest in the fashion scene when Kate started to become a popular model. I had a hard time taking the fashion scene seriously from that point on.
