^^ not really feeling the khaki, crazy furs, third-eye-makeup, and a few of those MC Hammer printed harem pants... but for the most part loving this WAY MORE than most of their usual collections... those little dresses and that black bomber... aah!

I actually overheard someone saying it’s a bad season for Acne today, from these photos I agree. The whole collection just looks a little confused. I like the black maxi dress but that’s about it, and are those ankle bangles I see there?

Somebody call Pat McGrath and tell her to adjust their makeup immediately. I hate that metallic drop on their foreheads. Other than that, I'm loving this. Another collection/another reason why I love Acne so much.

I don't know, I'm kinda into it. There's also jackets made from different fur pieces, not posted here?

So agree they could use some McGrath action, somehow I don't think orange lumpy foreheads are going to catch on

some of it is very a.f. vandevorst a/w 2010 meets ann-sofie back.

Oh my goodness. I need that celestial print t-shirt.

this is not what i picture when i think of acne (the brand ). was this presentation in new york and recently?

This season, Acne has finally blown their hype.

Their collections have gotten progressively less substantial and more gimmicky.

nothing gimmicky to me, what i see is a flair that is becoming more prevalent in this brand. the belted sand color coat is a lovely cut so is the one piece and i dont usually like those. nice how they mixed up loose and bound successfully. acne is geared to be worn with an attitude by those who dare. i think they like that direction more and more...

^^ i agree luckyme... they used to focus so much more on basics & it's cool to see them getting a little more adventurous. i think this presentation isn't styled particularly well but there's definitely a lot of cool stuff going on and i like seeing them embrace being a little bit more edgy / unusual.... i have some older acne stuff which is really unremarkable and i think those atacoma wedges were the first thing that was "recognizably acne" and i think there could be a few pieces here that will be the same

I agree the presentation is kind of gimmicky, with the make up and the styling. It looks too overwhelming.

Having said that, I do think most of the pieces can be quite nice on their own.

I think if you ignore the styling and try to look at it piece by piece, it's pretty amazing. And I die every time I see an Acne jacket. They're absolute perfection!

I only like the stockings and tight pants/leggings

I'm not really into it. I would rip the shoes off the last from the second post and the jacket but otherwise, the rest of it isn't my cup of tea.
