Yea i was a little disappointed in her wedding outfits as i think she would have looked better in a traditional red lengha, however....i guess she wanted to keep with south indian traditions instead so wore a sari!

I think the whole cameras in the Mandir is just for abit of publicity due to all the hype........but from what i know, i think there is a chance that their will be a documentry on the days up to the wedding!

Mmm thats what i thought too...but there was that "scuffle" with the media on the wedding day..so maybe they needed the positive media coverage..
she looks nice tho and her mendhi is WOW

Yes, I'm sure they are real uncut diamonds... kundan actually refers to the type of work... the setting with uncut stones (emeralds, rubies, diamonds, etc.) is referred to as kundan. of course there is imitation kundan as well but the traditional kundan consists of all real uncut stones including diamonds.

I'm pretty positive Aishwarya's would be real... I doubt she would wear imitation jewelry for her wedding and I'd even venture to guess that they were prob. borrowed.

There's no way to wash it off. If you want it off fast, the best thing to do is wash your hands A LOT! When I put on mehndi, I like it really dark (like red-brown, almost black dark) and it usually fades to a light, light orange within a week. A week to 10 days is usually all it stays on, but it depends on your hands, too, I think. My cousin, whose hands sweat a lot, cant get mehndi to stay on very long at all. Hope that helps!
