I love it, I really do. There are some very wearable clothes in the collection, if you look right through, even some jackets I, a woman, would wear:

but of course its the theatrics that have me going! It's so vampire, so dark and I actually understand a way in which it could be so all over the place in respect of inspiration from different nationalities, kind of like the devil throughout the world.
The way I understood it was like all the different vampires across the world, the dark things. Like Jack the ripper in London and then like opium dens in china (with the geishas as well) or something. And then theres the models dotted throughout with white faces. Dunno.

I think, like someone else said, I like it so much just because its got me so excited for the womens collection! The mixed response alone shows how dramatic the collection is and I really think its a return to character, maybe the McQ line has relieved him of some Gucci group pressure?

Ok, I tried to edit but well duh, I just looked at the vogue.co.uk (credit) report of the show and it said the nationality thing much more atriculartley than I did:

anyone have videos of old alexander mcqueen women shows such as the golden shower collection, the sanitarium, and the merrygo around? i seen pics of those shows and they were absolutely amazing. I really want to see them in motion.

These boots are awesome and from what i can see of the pants they are awesome too (as long as the waist doesnt go up past the nipples)...

I am not super impressed by the F/W seasons menswear, especially when compared to the awesome womenswear collection... but there are still some nice pieces

it was awful.. the whole thing is super cropped... but the back even more so, like just below the shoulder blades (exaggerating a bit)... i normally wear a M in McQueen but i tried a large and it still looked like i was wearing two sizes to small... lucky i didnt order it from LVR before i tried it...

I will say that the material was really nice.. i expected it to be really stiff but its really soft...
