Alexander McQueen Pre-Fall 2014

The 8th look would look great on the red carpet without the neck accessory.
Honestly, I'm not surprised by this collection. It's like they're not even trying to be conceptual anymore.

Who designs the resort collections? Because I swear to god you can't see Sarah Burton's ham-hand in this, apart from maybe in that ruched leather gown (vom).

All the cashmere tailoring with the tacking stitch details says to me is "remember, McQueen is famous for his exquisite tailoring."
How about you show some of that, which is well executed here, in the main collections instead of Elizabeth I in ivory or black tulle every season?

I think very soon people (including clients) is going to lose interest in this brand because the designer(s) have not been able to live up to Alexander McQueen's work. I mean, this isn't a bad collection, it is in fact a very good collection, but when it comes to the main collections of the brand you just can't help but think that something is missing.
