American Apparel has some kind of high-waisted pleated mini skirt now. Check this out:

If you can sport a flirty skirt like this, then I'm sure you'll find plenty of ways to enhance your wardrobe with this skirt. I guess if you don't feel confident wearing a skirt like this, one may be inclined to wear some leggings or legging-like pants. I am mostly impartial to Royal Blue. It does look good in Asphalt as well. Creative fashion types would find a way to build a look together using this skirt.

I just wrap it around myself and go to bed, it keeps me super warm. I am going to paris soon and am definitely bringing a lot of my AA stuff to wear a lot and accessorize differently, etc. Has anyone bought any of the stuff that's super on sale online??

I just ordered two of the see-through dresses. I'm excited because they're my first actual purchases even though I've been perusing the website for quite some time and visited the closest store. I got them in navy and black in XS/S. The sizing issues always worry me.

the salt & pepper hoodie is SO worth it.. it's like an investment piece for all your lazy days/gym days.. which may be a lot! so cozy, cute, & flattering...

also thinking of the viscose dolman sleeve top.. anyone have it? thinking of getting the white.

^I tried on the dolman top in white and have been thinking about it ever since. I really liked the shape and material. But I wasn't sure because I already have the sexuali tee and it's similar in style.

brianna, I don't know all of the stores but the one in Chelsea is ok and the 7th Ave store is pretty big and they used to have a small vintage collection too. Not sure if they still have it though.

pinkprincess - i have it in white and i love it! i also have 5 sexuali-tees/tanks but i knew i needed the dolman sleeve. i love the shape and how it drapes (including the sleeves). you should def get it, it is a good piece to just throw on some jeans/shorts with on lazy days

After getting the sexuali-tank, I wasn't very impressed and put off wearing it because I thought it was ill-fitting with an awkward texture, but I realized (after wearing it with a nude cross-back bra) that it's amazingly flattering and comfy!! My new favorite thing to wear

So i just got back from the LA factory flea market sale and i ended up buying the tulip skirt i have been dying for Le Sac dress, the cross popin dress, lame leggings, shirts, a hoodie and the grand total for everything....$54! i looked everything up online to compare prices i would have spent about $300 at a retail store...WONDERFUL

jaydotcee- i'm 5'3" and i have a white sexuali tank in +1 fits like a loose small, not too long, i'd say right at the hips. i have a black sexuali tank in +2 which is longer with bigger armholes..i can wear it as a short dress (covers my butt entirely like a tunic). the +1 should be perfect for you if you want to wear it like a tank, but it will still have the oversized/loose flowy look to it
