ElleLesley I find the double U neck dress to be true to size. If you have an AA store near you I'd suggest checking it out :flower:.

Unfortunately I don't have one near me but I think a small will do for me, thanks for the input though ^_^

I bought theses in dark purple a couple of weeks ago, but I still haven't worn them outdoors because the weather has been crap and I certainly can not wear them to work.

What kind of shoes should I wear with them? I was thinking of wearing them with the teal polka dot sash and a white wifebeater...

oh those are super cute.
I would wear flats or sandals ^_^

Bought the sheer rib tunique today in grass. I really don't think the photo on their website does it justice (the one I've posted it the best of the bunch!), I picked it up in the store and its really nice on, but online it just would not have convinced me to fork out the money for it. I think it will work well for when I go back to college and I just have time to get out of bed and RUN!! ;)
Other than this though, there really was nothing I wanted... Anyone else hoping something fun and new-ish may appear soon??

after all this time i never owned leggings. just got the tri-blend gray ones with a cuff and plan on living in them this winter.

i'm thinking about getting the triblend leggings too! i have so many triblend items and i really love them all -so the leggings will be next.

^do it! i did read that if you wash them too much you get holes in the seams, so watch out for that.

Man, as much as I think the founder is a creep and their website is pervy, whenever you buy something from AA, its good quality and lasts FOREVER.

I just bought the cycling shorts in nude mostly to wear under skirts, dresses and longer shirts as it's too hot for leggings. They are really comfy though so I might even wear them lounging around the house.

I have the high waisted shorts and they are so great. I wear them to bed, over tights, barelegged and under dresses/skirts

Realler versatile piece

A few weeks ago I bought sexuali tanks in the pinkish color and black, and a basic unisex vneck T in white (b/c how can you not?).

I am leaving NY this weekend to go back home to school where there is no local AA. I'm thinking of grabbing a few things before I go.

-salt and pepper zip hoodie in zinc
-cotton spandex too short tube dress in black (to wear under longish shirts when I want something besides legging and jeans, probably I'll use it as variations of a skirt mostly)
-And I would like to buy a circle scarf too.

What do you guys think: a regular or super sheer? I feel like they both have pros and cons.... I think if regular, then tri-evergreen or coral, and if super sheer, then athletic blue. I just have so much black and grey, and also black and grey scarves, I need to try color more. But which scarf do you prefer or is more useful (I would probably not wear it a dress and stuff, just variations on scarf styles)?

it depends on how warm you want the scarf to be. I have both and love them both, I wear the sheer one mostly in the summer and the heavier one in fall/winter. The sheer one is pretty but you also have to be careful of snags!

Oh thanks. Yea I've seen it in person (and on the super sheer apparel) and the first thing I thought of was it's probably going to snag and gain holes easily. I'm thinking of using it more just to accessorize, I don't think either scarf is legitimate for keeping warm really, I mean warm on a cool early fall evening maybe, but for actual winter I think it will be just for looks.

So you like them both a lot? Idk still! I guess I will just have to see what is left in stock and decide. Thank you for sharing about yours!:flower:

I have the salt and pepper hoodie and I LIVE in that thing in the Fall/Winter/Spring...basically anytime it's slightly chilly :)

^ Oh good to know.^_^ It's something I've been meaning to buy ever since I realized I have a few pullover hoodies and sweatshirts to fall back on for lazy/tired/bummy days, but no zip-up ones! I just bought it and I feel like it's such a staple, I don't know how I was living without it! Granted, it's like 94 today so I feel a little silly buying it while I'm still sweating in the heat, but I know I will be happy to have when I go back to school.

I also picked up that too short tube dress in black, and it will be so easy as an alternative to leggings for wearing under those loose tanks that show too much. Plus since you can scrunch it into a pencil skirt, I'm sure I'll find many other uses for it.

And the super sheer scarf in blue was NOT so pretty in person. It looked kind of ratty. They had the hunter but I don't like that color for me. And the black and grey were gorgeous, but I buy too much of that. The regular circle scarves, I think they are kinda bulky, like i would feel choked if I doubled it on my neck. So I got the regular in mauve which happens to been much thinner and softer than the other colors. Works out great b/c it's cheaper and a color and it wil go with all the black and grey that I wear.:flower:

I feel like for many things, the scarves especially apparently, you have to touch every color and see how they feel because there can be a huge difference in how study and stiff or soft and thin different colors are when they are supposed to be the same fabric. The mauve I got feels almost as thin and soft as the super sheers! That's why I wanted to shop before I went home because you can't touch everything when you order online.

Whoa, I haven't really been paying much attention to AA lately but I had no idea they were doing tri-blend leggings! I don't really wear them except as a layering piece in the wintertime. How are they? Thin? They look a little baggy on the website, but quite comfy.

^i think they're slightly thicker than the tri-blend t-shirts. i always take an xs but these only come in s, m, l so they're slightly baggy on me. i haven't worn them since it's so hot here, but i imagine they'll end up stretching after a while. i still think they're a pretty cool alternative to regular tights in winter though. tucked into slouchy boots.

I've got them in black and i really like to wear them under skirts/dresses for riding a bike (obviously  ).
and I've seen a look that i want to try for myself too: wearing them under jeans cut-offs..

Hello AA enthusiasts,

I thought you all could help me out with a dilemma. Garance Dore made a diy post where she made shorts by cutting (apparently) AA sweatpants. However, I can't for the life of me find those exact sweats on the aa store - ones with pockets on the butt. Anyone know what item they are? See picture here:

are they current sweatpants? did the person add the pockets? They sure are darn cute shorts.
