It's cool and trendy now, but I suppose that these animals aren't very happy. Sorry if this thread has been posted- you can tell if you know.

First photo is from Dolce&Gabbana Men ss05. WOW~!

italians would do anything to put some buzz to their boring catwalk.. cheap trick, i so pity the poor animals

thanks for the topic and welcome to tFS amelia :flower:

Agreed, Lena. Although I actually do kind of like the Dolce animal t-shirts that came from that show. :ninja:

That would be so funny to see a model slip in dog pee. :rofl:

Do you guys remember a McQueen show where a girl comes out leading two huge wolves on the chains? That was SEXY, grrrrrrrrrrrr. :ninja:

Aww...the wolves are so cute...I heard they were professionals!! Professional wolves...lol

^:sick::sick::sick: Those are gross.

I guess it's one thing to have a domesticated dog walk down the runway....but a wild animal like a tiger? I'm not sure how humane that is for the animal.

It's pretty disgusting. Those animals aren't getting paid several thousand to spend on their every whim like the models are...

they stick an electric probe into the animal's anus and a metal bit into its mouth to kill it without damaging the fur (basically cooking the animal alive from the inside). it's called anal electrocution.

and that's just the *end* of its life.

without ethical judgement.....

the wolves/dogs/tigers etc do add quite a striking look to the clothes, IMO......there's a definite mood in there.....i like it, in that sense....

They've done it here as well, and it was actually kind of cool to see.
Then again... they used a dog- and it nearly ran away with the model! :rofl:

Those wolves at McQueen were awesome, they fit perfectly with that look and the mood Lee was going for.

And the tiger at Dolce, though I didn't get it, was an adorable touch.

People need to keep in mind though that these animals aren't wild, they're trained to be around people, so it's really not that terrible for them.
