i doubt those images are the only ones for this editorial, i remember it's suppose to do a 20 page spread and it's obvious it is missing some photos. hopefully those will see works done by others

edit: i forgot to write that hedi slimane is amazing. his photos made the stars look so good, especially love lovefoxx and natasha khan's photos

maybe thats just a propagation of buddhist standpoint: when lamas spent months and monts working on mandalas and when theyre getting ready- lamas destroy them. thats the ritual who shows what everything is going by and thats the tide of life

MUXU, I totally understand what's your point.
Coz at the end, you're supposed to show outfits in a fashion magazine. And I know sometimes stylists are pretty disappointed at what the photographer's done ...

I would like to know Panos' opinion about this story (and what Carmen thinks, too). And if he knew the ending result before they shot. Coz from the twitter and blog stories, you could see how much efforts he put in the styling.

I still wish to see one day the original pictures before editing ...

BUT ... I kind of enjoy this ... This is pretty beautiful and the "atmosphere" is interesting. Some shots are ****ing good ! And, imo, the mood created does well render justice to the styling ...
It's very nightmaresque ...

I actually really love Panos+Nick story .. see, as much as I enjoy looking at Panos' work and examine it layer by layer, this is exactly what I love about Another Magazine, their lack of desperation advertise and shove down your throat perfectly put together outfits, with a face!, this is as Berlin says, a bit nightmare-esque but also a graphical episode of inspiration, almost like a memory, and clear incentive for it, cause there's so much you can draw or feel out of these images precisely out of their lack of clarity, I don't feel disappointed, but then, I also LOVED Pirelli 2004 ..

^ i only know what think model`s agents and agencies: when, for example Sundsbo did such digitalism- model agencies refused him in booking this or that girl, cause thats absolutely uninteresting proposal from agency standpoint- you won`t see the face of model on his shots. and after they started to subscribe contracts from which Solve is obliged to show model`s face and that she should be recognizable. now you see what he`s providing very clear and commercial images... and Solve was Nick`s apprentice and thats after work with Solve Nick passionates about digital art in photos and still cant stop

but than again, even without the digitalism, carman was masked so you cant see her face much anyways...
yea..i wonder if panos yiapanis had an agreement with nick knight before the shoot when they were planning that the end result will be something like this

seeing it from an artistic stand point, the blurring and everything does deliver that nightmare clown circus vibe which was the whole idea of the shoot...

^ just a bit less of this blur can be the compromise. now you just see layers of digital drawings...plus, im quite sure Nick knows much more ways to realize his wildest fantasies than just put smudges...
and please beat me but if i hadnt heard that long story and promo of that shoot and idea of Carmen image in it- i never ever guess what carmen plays horror clown...i see only sorta extravagant clothes (their delineation actually) on bright background (clouds, pastel colours) or just outlines on black background...

indeed. i don't always like kight's graphic effects but i think this time it makes more sense and it works. i was a bit disappointed the first time i looked at it because i was very curious to see panos's styling, but the images look nice nonetheless. maybe the styling was a bit OTT, with strong colors, the masks and everything because they already had the blurring effects in mind...? although there seemed to be so many details that i wonder whether panos really knew about it...

Kate's cover does not fit the other 3. I don't like the styling of it either.. even though I'm a huge fan of Kate.
Eniko's editorial is nice. She looks great throughout, and the styling looks good.

I agree, Kate's cover doesn't fit at all. If perhaps one of the other covers had colour in it it might have looked better. I went to buy the issue today, but the newsagents here only had Kate's cover, and I'm determined to get a Natalie, so (with great, great pain) I left it on the shelf.

I feel the same.
I was about to respond to ASF ... Like Hey I know what you're talking about. And it totally lacks the energy ...
+ I cannot even notice Camille's touch.
It's just the big hit of catwalks shot on a street of NY. I seriously think the styling ruins it all, there. Coz you clearly see the photog' wanted to capture something. But it's not happening.
