Yea I don't think it's that bad like your gonna "oh my god pass out bad".I saw a few things I like.the only thing I cringed at was the grills..this is not ATL boo or h-town for that matter.

I know if I had been on that runway I would have kept my shut.

Actually I really take the grills comment back..it's not something to cry over and get worked up about. I guess she was trying to add humor? Look at Heatherette and what they do. If some of the models felt "ashamed" and "Embarrassed", they should have turned down Kimora's offer for the show.

Last time I checked, "Ghetto" wasn't even a "style". So many people are so quick to throw that word in to describe Baby phat when it's someting deeper...Ugh the nerve of some people. I for sure am not a fan of BP, But I wouldn't even began to call it "Ghetto".

I agree I don't usually say it at all but I can't think of anything else to describe her clothes. I could just say that it's bad but even more than bad it's ghetto. I know that ghetto isn't a style but it is used to describe something that looks like it came out of the ghetto. It may not be politically correct but it's still widely used.

i attended the show. To my defense, i'm not in anyway affiliated with simmons nor do i like her or her clothes, i simply went to see the models. the show started terribly late, an hour or so, and the actual waiting time was more eventful than the show itself (50 cent throwing some guy out of his seat, animal rights activists.....very amusing). The clothes were horendous. As somebody mentioned, probably inspired by atlantic city hookers, but sex sells. I felt bad for the models; tiiu tried very hard to show off her grills but one can see that she was in pain. I talked to emina backstage (she speaks my language and we hit it of quiet well) and she hated her hair, her clothes and her grills, but luckily nobody else could understand . but why is everybody suprised (except for the grills of course)? Did we expect something classy or decent from kimora? NO we didn't. It was complete trash and i hope she doesn't torture us in the future with her "designs".

Not only are the grills bad (they make the models look like 13 year old, braces wearing thugs), but the clothes are horrific!!!!....She should be deported to L.A. immediately!!!!!

That, and cosmetic dentistry gone horribly wrong, and ... I'm reminded of how my dog bares her teeth when she wants to warn off the young pups

You can call Kimora's collection whatever you want but you're talking about it and she draws attention. I wonder if Betsy Johnson, Heatherette or some other designer with that out of the ordinary style had grillz on their models would it be this much of a backlash- at least on a forum?

BTW- As much Kimora is all about her business, I doubt her fashion sense is as serious as the negative comments posted on here. Besides, didn't she have models wearing her mugshot t-shirt in her show a couple of seasons ago? But you know what? You may speak harsh words about her style while she stays successful! Go figure that one out

hahaha Crow Watcher, you don't need to get all territorial at everyone. We understand that you like Kimora and all the rest of it, but you gotta understand that some people don't. It's that simple. Those "other" designers like Heatherette get mocked even more than this btw.

LMAO then why didn't she just say no to the show? I wonder if the models are able to view the showcase of what they will be wearing on the catwalk. Before the complete show is scheduled,set up, etc.

If a specific designer's clothes made me terrible uncomfy or the whole line sucked to me secretely in the back of my head, I wouldn't even let them book me. Makes you wonder if any of the models are being sincere about their jobs at all.

The grillz look so gimmiky
The clothing are not orginal and they just don't bring anything new. Just the same old stuff that she has been churning out for years...UGGGH
