Being talked about on TFS is hardly the spotlight.
But I know for fact that Nicholas sends the collection over to NY and has Anna preview it and give feedback before he shows it in Paris. This is done every season.
Anna's power in the industry is topped only by the owners of the huge conglomerates that employ the designers she consults for. They sell the clothes, they buy the ads, they are ultimately the ones that pay Anna's salary and keep her where she is. And they know that she has an eye for talent and they will pay attention when something/someone catches her eye.
The situation with Carine and Balenciaga is funny to say the least. If it really is the Max Mara coat thing then that is just mortifying. She'd have to know better...but people get greedy so you never know. Who knows what is really is, who cares? It's excting to think that a major luxury brand might set of a chain and get other folks thinking that they maybe don't need to advertise...
