That is a real style of Bal, yes! There's also one in black & white tones.... there's definitely a few variations. I vaguely remember seeing some for sale on the Barneys website and there have been a few threads about them on the Purse Forum, too.

They have a Real Alligator in Dark Marine, woven in with multi colors, with silver hardware at Nordies. I've only seen a photo but it looks gorgeous in those blue, gray, lavender, black & some white threads.

what does RTT stand for?

RTT : stands for Reduction du Temps de Travail
(Time Working Reduction)... the French Law on the 35 hours workweek,
at least that's what I've heard!

found out some info on the pre-fall 09 colors, due to be in stock starting in may...

nero
anthracite
charbon
pommier: apple (more of an emerald)
galet: stone (similar to sandstone)
tempete: storm (medium grayish blue)
ciel: sky blue
raisin: grape (but darker, more like an eggplant)

not sure how close anthracite and charbon are to their f/w 08.09 versions (i believe anthracite is more of a dark grey with blue undertones)

i really hope the raisin is more of an eggplant and not like violet...

Yeah, there are pictures of some of the pre-fall colors over there. Raisin is really lovely! Sort of a purple with red undertones.
