Bangs - Styling, Side Bangs, Fringes etc.

my side bangs got so long that they wouldn't do what I want hahahaha...so I cut them in a vicious state of mind. they came out quite nicely.

Oh yes and to fix it, I kept the hair on both sides of my head really short and only let the top grow. When my hair was down, no one could tell at all. Then I'd french braid the long hair and out would pop the punk of me! It was a great look imo.

I just got bangs and they got cut sort of in the Irina arched style, maybe a bit toned down, but it got cut too far in and I hate it!!

It makes me feel like I have a semi-mullet. My hair is really long otherwise and the bangs go as far in to my ears. I am also currently pinning it up with bobby pins when my hair is in a pony tail, but it's such a pain. I can't straighten my hair when the extra cut sides curl and I don't like it out.

How long will it take to grow to my jaw, so as to look like short layers? I'm really anxious.

Does anyone have any pics of this working?
Also, Somethingelse, I don't quite understand how that works? What do you mean by "keeping the hair on the sides short?"

I want Irina L. bangs but I'm afraid they will make my face look wide. Will getting Irina-bangs with a slight curve (longer on the sides) to hit just above the cheekbone maybe make a face look slimmer or bring out a cheekbone?

I began to style mine differently, before I was just straightening them to death. Now I'm going for the lindsay lohan side bangs ish. It's kinda humid out today so they didn't come out well but I liked them last night


I pinned some back too, my bangs were waaay too thick for sidebangs. I might get them trimmed so they arent as long too.

i have bangs and i love them! but its very hard for me to keep it straight beacause my hair is curly[especialy now , in the summer] so if someone's curly - think about it befor u do it!

i so hate side bangs, they're so boring and overdone, just go out on the street and you'll find 100 people with sidebangs on a single block, at least in NYC.
i myself have blunt, mod bangs straight across my forehead, which i love.
