I cut mine , grow them , cut them, I cannot make up my mind!

me tooo! i'm going through a horrible back and forth right now. i can NOT decide if i want bangs.....

i had short-ish bangs around december of last year...


and now my hair is like this (excuse the pics, the first one was taken solely to show my hair, even though it's not doing a very good job, lol, and the second.. i tend to make silly/annoyed faces when taking my pic. i'm not mean, i swear


i wanna cut bangs again...but then i like that my bangss have grown out to the longest they've ever been...
my family hates when i cut bangs.. but i love the pin-up look of it..they hate when i go too short...but they grow!! lol that's what i say!
and it's weird.. i feel i look more 'boyish' when i have my hair up and my bangs pinned or swept to the side...so i don't like that...and i'm constantly battling with my hair when i get ready to leave, cos i'm never happy with my hair the way it falls (and it's ALWAYS getting whipped into my eyes and bothering my contacts..)

sorry for all the pics of myself.. but anyone have any opinons/suggestions?
(i'm also gonna be bleaching some part of my hair, i think...)

i know it's not like a huge life altering decision or anything, and they'll grow if i cut 'em..but i usually end up going 'i wish i had long bangs!' a week or so after i cut them...lol so i'm really trying to figure out if i wanna go through the 'growng out bangs' phase again..

I am growing out my hair and will dye it to a muted no orange or yellow or red undertones.... but really "cold" dark brown color....... if that makes any sense...... and will do some long bangs.......

I'm thinking about getting a Nicole Richie style fringe. Does anybody recommend? I want a style that will minismise the large forehead and give the appearance of cheekbones.

The trick is to bring more hair from the middle of your crown forward, so that when you cut bangs, it doesn't look like they are cut right at the edge of your forehead, which could make it look even shorter. It balances more if you pull some from the back, if you know what I mean. Then I would cut them to sweep just over your eyebrows, so you can push them aside. I wouldn't go straight across if you have a roundish face, but shape the bangs from over your eyebrow straight across, then when you get towards the end of your eyebrow is,start tapering and shaping your hair, so that their are bangs that are slightly longer, as you go around your face (cheekbones, jaw etc), that then turn into layers in the rest of your hair.

you guys are so lucky you can decide whether or not you want to cut your hair into bangs. i unfortunately have a forehead that is 8 miles long and have always had bangs since i can remember, because my hair doesn't look good any other way. i really wanted to pin my hair up in that pomp way over the summer but i couldn't because it looked so bad! my forehead is so big and ugly! on the plus side, i have big eyes and bangs really bring them out.
