Behnaz Sarafpour for Target

The lace duffel is great, I love mine. I also really like the gold clutch, but other than those 2 bags, I am a bit disappointed with the collection for me.

I think I'll return the black lace white cardigan that I bought. It makes me look fat.

OK, as suggested here, I bought the brocade skirt a little big (this line seems to run bigger than previous GO International collections) so it would hang a little low on the hips.

I wore it last night with black tights, mid-calf boots and a black sweater and felt a little Balenciaga in it. I must have had 10 people ask me about the skirt - and well, I told them!
My Target did not have the duffle bag though. :(

I have gone back in a couple times to see if I'd like any of the items more each time but I just don't. I think I even liked the Paul & Joe line more... and all I ever wear from that anymore is the owl t-shirt.... underneath sweaters :ninja:

I agree with whoever said the stuff looks even worse in person. It appears really cheap... especially the lace pieces and jewels

the bejeweled tee look horrible i think in person, thats all that was out at my store. i was not excited about this at allllllllll. booooooo.

Amara loved your assessment!^_^ I, too, thought the short sleeve shirts you picked up looked nice. Those are something I'd also purchase if I had the need for them. Bedazzler!!
Whatever I can do to entertain. ;) I went by to pick-up the black shirt and decided to see if they had the cream bowling style blouse, which they didn't, but I did try on the black cardigan. I fell in love with the cardigan and purchased it too. Yeah, I have no need for clothes either, I have my walk-in closet filled and that includes adding an extra pants bar to hang off of one of the closet bars and use of add on hangers for skirts and blouses and a 5 pant hanger. The rest are in my hall closet and under the bed. :ninja:

I left reviews for the stuff I like and the Bedazzler tees on Target.com, but it takes about a week for reviews to pop up there...especially if they are negative. :innocent:

I bought the t-shirt with the lace overlay and I really like it. The fit is cute and I am excited to wear it for the holidays

Everything else I am definitely passing on.
Did you get the green one or the white one? I just saw the green one on target.com today, but I haven't seen either in my local Targets. And here I am so desperately in need of more clothes! :shifty:

Ooh, do you have pictures of the outfit? I love seeing the way fellow Targeteers put their outfits together and have their own personal style stamp.

The cotton voile shirts are very nice - the fit is perfect and they look so cute tucked into skirts. I love their puffed sleeves and Peter Pan collars. And you're right, they are very similar to the Paul & Joe blouses, but they are a little bit longer, so they don't come untucked as easily.

Just bought the velvet babydoll dress and the animal print henley... we'll see how those are...

I went to my local Target yesterday to check out the line, and I was really disappointed because the selection was VERYYY limited. While I know I can check the website for pictures, it's always so much better seeing it in person, you know? Anyhow, I was wondering if anyone could post pictures of the cotton voile shirt, babydoll dress and the animal print henley. I havent seen those anywhere, online or in person! Thanks!

Just recently back from my fun trip :woot: And the tally is:

silver brocade skirt
layered lace top
faux lamb jacket

I still need to sell myself on the volume of the skirt and the top was a last minute grab in that size. I have to try it officially at home, but the model is discouraging me because Target has the worst online photos ever!!

Lots of other cute stuff, but all too short or too tight for me personally :flower:

luvmelots - I just put pictures up on my StyleDiary of the babydoll dress and the henley. The link is in my signature. I hope that helps - the henley is not great (not a very cute print) and I plan to return it. I like the babydoll dress a lot, though - and the velvet is quite nice for the price.

Oh! I didn't think to take any, which is odd as I usually do. (Not because I'm egomaniacal but because I like to objectively look at outfits and see if they do or don't work.)

I will next time - and diormouse, I didn't see the babydoll at my Target either! It's cute.

So I had to go to school to take my German exam and I remembered that a bit past the school there is a Target, so I went after I was finished with the test. This Target was in a much larger city then the two I normally frequent and they easily had twice as much stuff from the line then the other two. If your usual Target does not have much try going to one in a larger city Or I have found that regular Target stores and those that are not true Super Targets (very limited groceries) often have a larger clothing section.

I tried on several things out of curiosity and found the shirt I was looking for.

- Green w/ black lace tee-shirt. Looks better in person, very vibrant green.
- Black A-Line skirt w/ velvet stripes. Actually very cute, but I have so many skirts already.
- Black Satin blouse. This is the only color I like this blouse in. I think for me at least that it could only work if tucked in a nice pair of black or pinstriped high-waisted trousers. It would have to be buttoned up all the way and I would probably have to tuck it into my pantyhose to keep it tightly secured. Closing the buttons is a pain in the neck. I'm still considering the top, but more then likely I will not buy it.
- Eggplant strapless dress. I really loved this one, I'm waiting on it because I don't know if I am going to any Christmas parties or not yet. Plus I don't think the dresses will sell-out quite as fast as the other items. I don't care how egotistical it may sound but I looked better in it then the model in the pic. She, like most models does not really have an hourglass shape and it is more suited for one. :p
- I did not try it on but there was this white cardigan covered with black lace that I think is quite tacky , worse then the gray tank w/ lace sleeves. :yuk:

^Oh, I forgot to mention, I'm 4'11", so the babydoll dress would be shorter on somebody taller than me.

And cygenoir, I totally agree - pictures are the best way to tell whether or not an outfit works... also, posting it up for the world to see makes me think a little harder about what I'm going to wear...

hi luvmelots1983 and diormouse, pls check your PM thx!

I have had to return several of the Behnaz items to the store that I bought online, and just wanted to let people know that although I used the 10% off discount code cited earlier in this thread, the store has apparently refunded me the full price for the clothes. :woot: So in orders that I bought a bunch of clothes and the duffel bag, I ended up returning all the clothes (but kept the bag), but I received the full price credit for the clothes and they never made me pay for shipping. Just wanted to pass that along.

^Woohoo!!:p The same thing happened to me when I returned a bunch of P&J stuff. For example, the white leather jacket which I got 10% off online. They ended up giving me back the full-price, so I made more than $15 on that return. At other times, the cashier will say "it's showing you got some kind of discount...I'll need to call this in to find out how to do this return"....then they ended up taking it off. Oh well. But those few times I did make some money back, it pays for the shipping I lost money on.

So should I go to my local Target and check these clothes?

Yes! I bought the faux lamb jacket and the black lace on black cardigan. You know what I love about this stuff - you buy what looks best on you and even if you only wear it a couple of times - so what?! - it's inexpensive and fun.
